ENMAS COMPUTERIZED OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (ECOMS)

Introduction
The ECOMS is a computerized O&M management system developed in a customized manner by
ENMAS O&M for its O&M plants. This includes,
 Stores management system (Stores ERP)
 Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
 Computerized Operation Management System (COMS)
Stores Management system (Stores ERP)
This system is a complete solution for the inventory and purchase.
To implement it we require following basic inputs.

1. Separate place with computer dedicated as server with the configuration of i5
processor, 2 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD
2. The system should have some minimum software such as Window 2003 server OS, .Net
2008, SQL server 2005 & Team viewer
3. Apart from above, individual computer for each department & at stores
4. A high speed LAN connection extended to all the computers including internet
5. Any authorized antivirus package with license certificate for the computers which will be
used for materials transaction

Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)


It is a system of modern approach without giving up the conventional practices. This system
provides a complete solution for our maintenance activities.
The transaction begins with the entry of maintenance job by engineer and ends with the HODs
health remark on the job carried out.
To implement it we require following basic inputs.

6. Codification of each spare/item
7. Preparation of type of equipments master list

List no 1-6 is common for both stores system and cmms. Where stores system is not
implemented there list no. 1-13 has to be prepared

Computerized Operation Management system (COMS)


We develop operation module in a customized manner. In this system we have to feed all the
operating parameters on daily basis. Taking this as input the system will convert them into daily
reports, monthly reports, etc.
A standard report format is developed. In general we encourage adopting the same standard,
however based on plant condition and site requirements this can be customized.
The system covers whole plant such as Boiler, TG, WTP, CHP and AHP
This system also calculates the plant performance such as boiler efficiency, THR, GPHR, cycle
efficiency, etc automatically based on the formulae assigned.
By feeding manpower details we can make shift schedules, get attendance details
To implement it we require following basic inputs.
1. Nothing specially needs to be prepared like stores or CMMS as we already have log
sheets. What we write in log sheets the same has to be entered in the system
2. Have to follow common report format developed in the software
3. Have to wet formulae given for performance calculations
4. Feeding manpower details on daily basis
There is no special preparation is required. Normally it may take a month to get adapt with
the system
