FINAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Single Component Pure Polyurethane Silcor 575 or equivalent
The First part consist of all surface area should cleaned up to visible of hair cracks /
aggregate texture. Cleaning of RCC member should be done by hacking tool,
wire brush, wire grinder & air blower etc. Open cracks & construction joints should
be sealed with cement mortar with additive. All clean & treated area should tested
for water tighness by flooding water. All wet spots & water leakage area should
mark for treatment.
The Second part consist of Supplying and Applying Silcor 575 or equivalent, A high
performance, low odour, one-part, fastcuring,high solids, polyurethane elastomer
waterproof membrane over uniform surface of deck slab. Apply to a minimum
total WFT (Wet Film Thickness) of 1.8mm to achieve the required minimum DFT of
1.5mm. Silcor 575 is a pure polyurethane elastomer. It does not contain bitumen or
tar and will not bleed or stain.Silcor 575 should have following minimum properties:
i) Solid % Vol: (91 3)
ii) Tensile Strength > 2.5 MPa (ASTM D412)
iii) Elongation > 500% (ASTM D412)
iv) Shore A Hardness - 75 5 (ASTM D2240)
v) Chemical Resistance - Excellent (ASTM C543)
shall be applied as per manufacture specification.

The Third part consist of Providing and laying avg. 100 mm thick, CM 1:4 screed
admixed with conplast WL or equivalent Integral Waterproofing Compound of
approved makes as per manufacturer's specifications
The Fourth part of Sand Broadcasting on Walls: Broadcast oven dried quartz sand
with very low organic content having grain size (0.5 1.2 mm) at 1- 1.5 Kg/sqm onto
the approved Primer only for increasing the adhesion face surface and improving
the mechanical adhesion of the membrane to the primer.Broadcasting sand is
always to full saturation to obtain an even surface within the tack time of the
primer.After full cure of the primer, the excess sand should be removed with a
scrubber and vacuum cleaner.
The Third part consist of Protection on Walls: Providing and applying one coat of
plaster CM 1:4 of 10-12mm thick and adding conplast WL or equivalent
waterproofing compound and curing the same thoroughly.

Organic Nano Lithium based floor coating with Superior floor protection against

The coating shall be applied in three coats (apply 2 coats followed by fixing of
chairs & then apply a final coat) as per manufacturers specification to provide
strong, dust proof, non staining, better finish (semi gloss) surface top, which will be
resistant to acids, oils and reduce maintainence and cleaning cost. ( The
measurement shall be as per the actual surface area applied).

have following minimum properties:
i) Tensile Strength >1.8N/mm2 (ASTM D412)
ii) Elongation >200% (ASTM D412)
iii) Adhesion to concrete >1.2N/mm2 (ASTM D4541)
iv) Water Vapour Transmission <15 g/m2/24 hrs (ASTM E96)
v) Crack Bridging - No Crack at 2mm (ASTM C836)
shall be applied as per manufacture specification.

Epoxy Coating :- Providing and applying 2 coats of epoxy coating by mixing 2/3
components using slow speed heavy duty drilling machine fixed with mixing
paddle, applying first coat using brush or roller and allowing it to dry for 16-18 hrs,
applying second coat and allowing it to dry completely, etc and complete as per
manufacturer's specification.Membrane should have following minimum
properties:
Pot life:- 30 min. at 25 C
Mixed density :- approx. 1.50 g/ml at 27 C
Application temp :- 15 C to 35 C- Humidity should be below 70%
Dry film thickness : 130 microns in two coats;

Supplying and laying Perm-A-Barrier Wall Membrane is a tough, self-adhering, selfsealing waterproofing membrane for air and vapor barrier applications. Consisting
of .036 in (0.9mm) of rubberized asphalt integrally bonded to .004 in (0.1mm) high
density cross laminated polyethylene film. Perm-A-Barrier Wall Membrane, when
combined with a structural substrate, produces a virtually impermeable air, vapor
and water barrier on concrete, masonry, gypsum board and wood walls. It is
designed to be a cost-effective system providing a continuous seal against air,
vapor and moisture around the entire building. Membrane should have following
minimum properties:
Minimum elongation 200%
puncture resistance - 40lbs (178N)
Water absorption - 0.1%

150mm average thick screed concrete of M20 grade in slope as per manufacturers
specification.
