NetTime Client/Solo

1) - Shareware Information -
Whilst trying this software, the following restrictions apply:
1. A banner is displayed across the main background screen.
The restrictions can be removed by entering a secure key in the registration sec
tion. A key may be obtained by purchasing the NetTime system.
2) - Installing -
Please ensure any previous versions of the Client have been uninstalled.
Run the self-extracting executable and follow the onscreen instructions.
Getting to the configuration options...
There are two default passwords which require changing, the Solo timer password
and the Client administration password.
Solo timer pass: SOLO
Solo admin pass: SOLOADMIN
When NetTime is launched for the first time, it requires configuration.
If you are using the complete NetTime system with a server, you must enter the s
erver's IP address and give the client machine a name.
The administration password will log you into the client as a SuperUser which gr
ants access to the configuration panels. To access the panels, bring up the tim
er window which will be minimized to the task bar and click on the administratio
n button.
To ensure your changes are saved, please click the 'Save Changes' button.
Next, click the 'Settings' button to set the behaviour of the client software.
- Settings -
If you are using the server version of NetTime, please select the server in the
'Mode of Operation' group. The Solo options are only available if the software
is running in Solo mode.
The 'Launch Method' allows you to launch NetTime automatically from the registry
when the operating system is booting, or enables you to choose an alternative m
ethod of launching the software. A shortcut could be created in the startup fol
der to start NetTime at boot-up if preferred.

3) - Graphics -
Back.bmp is the main background graphic.
This may be changed altered in any way as long as the file extension remains the
same.
The graphic file is resized to fit the screen.
Logon.bmp is the logon graphic. This also can be changed and is resized to fit
the space on the screen.
Wait.bmp is the 'Please Wait' graphic. Can be changed in the same way as the Lo
gon.bmp graphic.
