U-32 Middle and High School Pilot Project Learning Plan - German

German Language
1. What questions/goals are you addressing in your study?
To have a basic understanding by the end of the semester/year

2. Why are you interested in this study?


I wanted to learn German in 8th grade but didnt think I could, I have a very close
friend who resides/was born in Austria and is fluent in german. I also might go to
germany/visit Germany/Austria. I've always like the german language and
thought it was very interesting.

I will record myself speaking german and I will have conversations in german with
my Austrian friend Leon. Once connect with a mentor, I will meet with them
weekly.

understanding youve gained by creating this project?

Amy Koenigbauer has emailed a german teacher at a different school to
see if they could mentor me. If that doesnt work I will talk to Kim for
assistance.
