Data Centre Team Member

Key Roles as System Analyst

Primary point of contact for planning and delivery of technical support for the Banks software
applications along with monitoring and troubleshooting any issues.

Overseeing all aspects of Incident management and hold complete liability in closing down the
issue in minimum turnaround time.

Gathering service requirements and meeting peak application performance, required to meet the
demands of everyday business, including all internal departments.

Work in close collaboration with the business during UAT to develop and maintain scenarios for
testing (use cases); co-ordinate execution of UAT and review results.

Ensuring proper disaster recovery plans are in place and extend priority support during times of
crisis by getting the system back in the least possible time.

Weekly follow-up with the Backup Admins to ensure that the database and application server
backup are taken and there is no issue with the backup and there is no abnormal increase the
backup size.

Assist in planning and executing various projects with adherence to core business goals along
with selecting and implementing effective systems

Performing System Acceptance Test (SAT) and User Acceptance Test (UAT) for new and upgraded
systems before implementing in the production environment.

Oversee all phases of project life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing,
implementation and quality project deliverables.

Understand clients business requirements and advise them on technical best practices,
troubleshooting methodologies and tools

Improving operational readiness by enhancing availability of system for internal customers


accessing the database and supporting the management in taking the best decision by giving
inputs whenever required.

Project 1:

Finnone Retail Lending System (RLS) Suite

Environment:

Forms & Reports (Solaris Weblogic App Server), J2EE (Web Sphere 7.0).

Description: Finnone provides the necessary elements for product management, fee and charge
management, loan origination processing, underwriting, disbursal management, interest accruals,
billing and repayment management, rescheduling and reprising, foreclosure management, nonperforming assets monitoring and delinquency management.
Primary Role:
Migrated data from old to the new Retail Lending System and set up
parameters like Workflow Setup, Policy Setup for CAS, Product Setup, Scheme Setup, NPA Setup for
Products, GL Setup, Template Setup, Allocation hierarchy for recoveries, etc.
Project 2:

Xpert Learning Management System (LMS) Suite

Environment:

Tomcat, IIS web server to serve EKP pages.

Description: Learning Management System is the application or tool implemented to address the
development and learning needs if RAKBANK products within the employees.
Primary Role:
Upgraded the LMS system from 6.1 to 9.1 and developed a utility to upload the
data from the Active Directoy into LMS system.
Project 3:

ONeil Record Management System (RMS)

Environment:

Forms & Reports (Solaris Weblogic App Server), J2EE (Web Sphere 7.0).

Description: ONeil has been committed to leading the record storage and management industry
for over 30 years. The record storage and management software solutions track multiple types of
data including traditional storage boxes, file folders, documents and tapes; from deposit to
destruction, work order to invoice.
Primary Role:
Implemented ONeil system and undertook data migration from old Record
Management System to ONeil.

Maintenance and Support of AS/400 (Model: 810)

Monitoring and analysing CPU utilization of AS/400 and other servers residing in server farm

Observing MIMIX for the proper replication of the Data at Disaster Recovery Site.
