BALOCHISTAN SCHOOL INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

1: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Quetta 2.0 which is an initiative of the youth of Baluchistan, we are the group of talented persons
from different districts of Baluchistan, Is submitting the proposal to the Education Department, Govt. of
Baluchistan for the design, development and maintenance of BSMS (Baluchistan School Management
System).Our proposed system keep records of all academic activates of
Govt. schools in different districts of Baluchistan e.g. Teachers attendance, Students Recodes etc. Our
proposed system virtually connects all the schools of the province through one server. Moreover the
data of these schools can be used for measuring the performance of the schools and help Education
Department to monitor the schools virtually. The success of the system depends on how accurately the
data will be submitted to the servers and based on the feedback of the schools authority. The Project
will bring transparency, accountability in government schools of Baluchistan
The program will first deployed on districts with low literacy rate e.g. Dera Bugti, Mashkel,
Dhadhar etc.
The significant benefits of the proposed system are:
Virtually connecting all the schools of Baluchistan.
Increase Accountability because all the record is maintained daily.
Reduce the cost of manually maintaining the record.
Students Repot Card and other reports will be automatically generated.
Biometric attendance of teachers.
Our team will be working successfully on different private sector IT Projects and
We have highly experienced persons in Project Management and Software Development. HE BSMS
team will be fully committed and we try our best to make the product successful.

2. SCOPE OF THE WORK

The current system which we are planning to implement in Baluchistan is implemented
in Punjab and Sindh and it helps to eliminate ghost schools in different far away areas. The BSMS is a
user friendly interface, A Web Based Server connected with all the schools through internet, some of
the key deliverables of the Project are:

Teachers attendance through Biometric system connected with the server.

A web Based Application for BSMS.

Student Progress Report Generation.

Developing manuals for the training of Staff in the school

Student Progress Connectivity with SMS(Short messaging Service)

3. THE BSMS SYSTEM

The business flow of this project is very simple. A Data Entry Operator in every Schools
manage the details of students and teachers and enter the record. A biometric system is attached and
it is connected to centralized server which is managed by the Education Department of Baluchistan. A
message system is attached with it in which the result of class is send to the Parents.
As we have all the data of schools so data analysis can done easily which
helps us to improve education system of Baluchistan.

4. THE BSMS SYSTEM REQUIRMENTS:

The Server Required For Running this System is:
1. 2 TB hard-disk to be used as main storage with fast I/O
2. 2 TB hard-disk for providing soft-backup using RAID-2 with fast I/O
3. 32 GB RAM for text analytics
4. Minimum of Intel Core I-7
5. Ordinary Monitor Display for development purposes
6. Other accessories like keyboard, mouse, etc.

6. OUR PROFILE:
We are the group of Professional people aiming to Produce Highly Technical IT Products. We have built
an Information Management System for QDA (Quetta Development Authority), Student Information
Management System for University of Baluchistan (UOB), Quetta and University of Turbat (UoT).
Our group Members Short description is below
Muhammad Junaid Ali: An experienced Full stack web developer having skills in PHP, laravel
Framework and Oracle Database Professional, Have done multiple government sector projects.
Muzzamil Karamat: An experienced Android Developer and Oracle Certified Database Professional
(OCDP) work with Multi-National Companies in Web and Database Development.
Kamran Zia: A Project manager with great skills in managing a Project, Done MBA (IT) and monitor
different IT related Projects, He is also monitoring the Project of Student Management System for
BUITMS.
