Unit Goal:
In the late seventeenth and throughout the eighteenth century Europe underwent an
Era of Expansion. Analyze the shifts in agriculture, industry, population, and trade to show the
social and economic impact of the times on the people and institutions of Europe.
Language Objectives:
Define academic vocabulary using both oral and written responses. Explain content
material using complete sentences. Create a thesis and prove it.
