Students to gain an understanding of the concept cost to the community and examples from drug use. Student will
be able to determine between a depressant, stimulant and hallucinogen.
SYLLABUS CONTENT to be covered
5.5 Evaluate personal, environmental and social factors that can influence decisions people make about their health
and wellbeing, and propose and apply strategies to make and implement healthy, active and safe choices.
5.9 Investigate how individuals, family and peers groups an affect peoples behaviours, beliefs, decision,
opportunities and actions.
SYLLABUS OUTCOMES to be covered
- Exploring the range of health decisions students will be confronted with over coming years and analysing the

factors that will influence the choices they make


- examining scenarios to highlight ways emotions, personal dispositions, and decision making can affect
consequences.

Behaviour management strategies:
