United Nations, it is a pleasure to count with you as delegates of the High
Commissioner for Human Rights. My name is _____________ and I will be the

we will discuss in this committee the LGBT rights, reason why, we will begin
with the reading of the official position papers. We remind all delegates that
you will be called alphabetically.

If a delegation has a question to the chair it should inform it by a non

verbal media (piece of paper)

What if a delegation feels offended by another delegation?

If a delegation feels offended by another delegation, it can use a right

of reply which would work in the following way: after the offending
delegation finishes its speech the offended delegation should raise its
placard and say right of reply and when the chair recognizes it, the
delegation should say the delegation of ____________ feels offended by
the speech given by the delegation of _______________ and asks for an
apology

What is a point of order?

A delegation DOES NOT follow the rules of procedure.
A delegation DOES NOT maintain a diplomatic composure.
A delegation DOES NOT refer itself in third person.
A delegation USES a cell phone.

What if a delegation needs to leave the room?

If a delegation needs to leave the room, it should ask permission to the

chair by a non verbal media (piece of paper)

Delegates, we will proceed to make the working paper. We remind all delegates
that the working paper needs to have only two points to discuss them and the
document must include the name of the committee and the topic under
discussion, you count with ten minutes to make it. Delegates, you are able to
abandon your seats
