Purpose

Resolves an OMNIKEY 3021 card reader issue. There are revisions of the card reader that will not respond
when connected to the MFP. The patch file also addresses an issue with Common Access Card reader
detection when coming out of Power Saver Mode.

Save the files to a convenient location at your workstation and unzip the files, if necessary.
Installation Instructions
If your current machine versions are not within the range noted below, contact your Xerox Customer Support
representative to obtain the necessary software before installing the patch.

1. Using your favorite browser, enter the WorkCentre 75xxs IP address to access the devices
web user interface.
2. Go to Properties Machine Software Manual Upgrade
3. Select [Browse] and locate the 616540v2.dlm file.
4. Press [Install Software]
Software Installation will begin several minutes after the software file has been submitted to the machine. The
installation progress can be monitored from the Local UI. When installation completes, the Network Controller
version shown on the printed Configuration Report will be appended with 061.124.11620.LL.616540v2
Note: If the patch needs to be uninstalled, repeat the upgrade process using the uninstall file
616540v2_un.dlm
