Intrsct Club Constitution and Bylaws

ARTICLE I: NAME & PURPOSE

Section A: Name- The name of this club will be Intrsct Club.
Section B: Purpose- The purpose of this club will be:
1. Goals:
a. To teach the art of entrepreneurship
b. To spread awareness as to how simple it is to take a
business idea, invention, or social venture from just an idea to a full-scale
effort
2. Activities:
a. To hold workshops, seminars, and other events to engage
the club members and the student body at large.
ARTICLE II: MEMBERSHIP & DUES
Section A: Eligibility- Membership will be open to anyone within our Stevenson student
body
Section B: Active Membership- We will confirm membership during our biweekly
meetings.

ARTICLE III: OFFICERS

Section A: Officers: -The officers will be a President and Vice-President.

Section B: Eligibility Officers must be active students in the club who contributes their
time and effort and join meetings when noticed.
Section C: Term Officers will serve for one year and that their term of office will begin
at the start of the year when signing up for clubs
Section D: Election Officers should be chosen by our faculty leader, faculty advisor, and
the previous years officers

ARTICLE IV: OFFICERS DUTY AND RESPONSIBILITY

Section A Responsibility: Each officer is responsible for their own duties being
performed during each meeting and is also responsible to make sure his duties are carried
out by another member in his/her absence.
Section B: President Duty- These will be the duty of the President:

Preside and establish meetings on a weekly or monthly basis

Welcome new members into the club
Explain to new members the purpose and operation of this club
To ensure we have the authority to follow and execute our ideas and plans
Having good understanding of the clubs constitution and policies
Jointly document club minutes with the Vice President
Aid in planning club and school-wide events
Public Relations: Ensure that the student body knows of the club, and

make sure they get involved

Section B: Vice President Duty- These will be the duty of the Vice President

Preside over club meetings in the absence of President

Become acquainted with the Presidents duties to assist him to the fullest

capacity
- Welcome new members into the club

Jointly document club minutes with the President

Public relations: Aid the president in ensuring that that the student body

knows of the club, and make sure they get involved

ARTICLE V: MEETINGS
Section A: Meetings- Regular meetings shall be held biweekly during Activities period
of any day, depending on what club members have decided.
Section B: Meetings- Meetings should be announced five days prior to the actual date of
meeting so that all members will be unequivocally noticed and will have the time to
organize their time accordingly

ARTICLE VII: FACULTY ADVISOR

Section A: Duties-These are duties of the faculty advisor for this club
-Assist the club to reach the clubs objectives and goals, especially in program planning
and development
-Make sure that plans for club activities in question conform to the general policy of
Stevenson
-Maintain relations with parents and other non-school entities that are involved with the
club
-Approve/deny all club functions before the functions actually happen.

ARTICLE VIII: AMENDMENTS

Section A: Selection these bylaws may be amended by a two-thirds (2/3) majority vote
of the active membership
Section B: Notice All members shall receive advance notice of the proposed
amendment at least a week before the meeting.
