Scent of Jannah emanated from the blessed Qabr of

Shaykh Musa Ruhani al-Bazi due to this kitab!
An Amazing incident regarding the Shaykh Rahimahullah and this book.
For one year the a most beautiful scent of Jannah came forth from the blessed
grave of Hadhrat Shaykh Musa Ruhani al-Bazi Rahimahullah. When one
Hadhrats students saw Hadhrat in a dream inside the Rawdha Mubarak
of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam. Hadhrat was looking very happy
and the student enquired from Hadhrat about the beautiful scent of Jannah
emanating from his blessed grave and to what was the reason for it. Hazrat
replied, " Dont you know? My kitab al Barakat al Makkiyah has been granted
acceptance by Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam, and this is the reason for
my Qabr to emanate the scent of Jannah "

About Al Barakat Al Makkiyah. Al Barakat Al Makkiyyah is a book that comprises

salat and salam upon the leader of the both worlds our master Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. In this mubarak and blessed kitab Hadhrat Syaykh Musa
Ruhani al Bazi Rahimahullah has gathered 804 names of Nabi sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam. (805 are mentioned but one name is repeated probably due to an error by
the scribe but it has not been deleted since this was how it was published in the
lifetime of the author) This kitab should be a daily recitation of every muslim in
the four corners of the world. It is best if a person may complete the reading of entire kitab daily, otherwise he or she may divide it into three parts. At least a person
may make khatm of the kitab once a week as indicated on the top of kitab as seven
divisions. This kitab is found very beneficial to overcome ones calamity, difficulty
and hardship. It is a means of blessing and a great means to acquire the love of
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and the love of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
For the sake of brevity many of the virtues of this work and the long introduction
by the author has been omitted as these amount to about 120 pages!.

The late Allamah Muhammad Musa Ruhani al-Bazi (d. 1998 CE) was an exceptional scholar of Pakistan. He was a graduate of Madrasah Qasim al-Ulum Multan
(Pakistan), and his teachers include the renowned mufassir, Mawlana Ghulam
Allah Khan and Mufti Mahmud of Multan (Pakistan), khalifah of Shaykh al-Hadith Mawlana Muhammad Zakariyya (may Allah shower His mercy upon them
all). The Allamah was a scholar of great repute, a prolific author of unique works
and a wali of Allah.
He was Shaykh al-Hadith and Tafsir at Jamiah Ashrafiyah Lahore (Pakistan).
His lessons on Jami al-Tirmidhi and Tafsir al-Baydawi, in particular, became renowned, with students from around the world flocking to attend them.
Imam Sakhawi was known to have collected and created the most number (few
hundred) of descriptive names for the Messenger (May Allah bless him and give
him peace) until came along Shaykh Allamah Muhammad Musa Bazi ar-Ruhani
[d. 1998 CE]. He has enumerated over 800 names for the Messenger (may Allah
bless him and give him peace) in his Al-Barakat al-Makkiyah fi l-Salawat al-Nabawiyyah. He also has composed Al-Qasidah al-Husna fi Asma al-Nabi al-Uzma,
in which he quotes some 500 names of the Messenger (May Allah bless him and
give him peace). Needless to say, both of these are amazing and truly inspirational
works. In fact, all of Shaykhs works are immensely beneficial. He has also authored
Fath Allah fi Khasais al-Ism Allah (a work on the specialties of the name Allah)
in 2 volumes spanning over 1500 pages.
His works are of an extremely high standard in terms of research (tahqiq),
language (he mostly wrote in Arabic) and depth of scholarship (istiab). He has
written on many branches of the Islamic sciences including Tafsir (just his Tafsir
of Baydawi is in 50 volumes; its muqaddimah (introduction) published separately in two volumes), Hadith (his commentary on Sunan al-Tirmidhi is the most
extensive and arguably the most authoritative from scholars affiliated to Deoband),
Usul al-Fiqh (an amazing commentary on Sharh al-Tawdih wa l-Talweeh, Arabic
literature (including two different commentaries of Diwan Mutanabbi), Arabic
Grammar and Syntax, Etymology (sarf ), Urudh & Qawafi (the sciences of poetic
meterage and literary criticism), Arabic, History (an amazing work in this regard is
his Ghayat at-Talab fi Aswaq al-Arab, an extremely meticulous and insightful work
into the markets of historic Arabia and their traditions), Classical Logic (Mantiq)
(He has 8 lengthy commentaries on the major classical works in this field alone,
such as a commentary on Allamah Hamdullah as-Sandilis commentary on Sullam
al-ulum and an annotation of Mir Zahids commentary on Mulla Jalal), Philosophy (in both traditional branches of Metaphysics: Cosmology and Ontology),
Ancient Hellenistic Ptolemaic Astronomy (5 major works), Modern Copernican
Astronomy and Astrophysics (31 works, of which 6 written as core texts (mutun)
and 2 major commentaries) and some other books in Dawah and spiritual reformation (Islah) etc. The total number of his published or soon to be published works is
135, a number of which are in several volumes.
