National Discussion
Planning Outlook 2015: Reflection and Future
Challenges of Planning in Indonesia
The event was held along with the publication of our
latest working paper, Planning Outlook 2015. The
keynote speech was delivered by Minister of Land
and Spatial Planning. A Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) on capacity building for
planners was signed between IAP and Ministry of
Land and Spatial Planning at the end of the seminar.

The event was collaboratively held by IAP and
Ministry of Land and Spatial Planning. Keynote
speech was delivered by Prof. Roos Akbar,
professor of city and regional planning from ITB.

and Infrastructures
The half day seminar was held by IAP in
collaboration with Agency for Regional
Infrastructure Development, Ministry of Public
Works. The keynote speech was delivered by
General Secretary of EAROPH, Mdm. Norliza
Hashim. The event was attended by 100
participants came from various institutions
including Ministry of Public Works, academia,
local governments and IAP members.

Indonesia National Report for Habitat III


Indonesian Government is now preparing its national
report to be submitted for upcoming Habitat III
Conference in 2016. IAP is actively involved in
delivering the report, with activities includes
participation in preliminary meeting and monthly
discussions with housing and settlements stakeholders.

Executive Dialogue
Roles and Challenges of Planners in Making the
Planning Works
The half-day seminar was held in conjunction with
annual meeting of IAP. Keynote speech was
delivered by Ministry of Land and Spatial
Planning. The event was attended both by
professional planners and government officers.
