Devoted or Distracted?

Do Not Love the World

Were in our fourth week of our Devoted or Distracted

series where well examine what a Devoted Christian looks
like in comparison to a Distracted Christian.
In the society we live in, it is easy for us to move from being
in the world to being in love with the world. When a
Christian is enticed by the world he or she may easy
become distracted with pursuing worldliness. But have you
ever considered the truth that Christians are not to love the
world? The apostle John writes to Christians to inform them
that if they love the world then Gods love is not actually in
them.
The question for us this morning to consider: Are you
Devoted to God, are you Distracted by the world, or in love
with the world?

International Day of Prayer for the

Persecuted Church

Sunday, November 6th. We join our brothers and sisters in Christ

around the world in prayer for the persecuted church at both 9:30
and 11:15 worship gatherings.

Missionary Visit - George Dimakos

Sunday, November 6th. Our missionaries to Greece, George &
Luisa Dimakos, will be visiting us in both 9:30 / 11:15 worship
gatherings. George will be speaking at both gatherings. We look
forward to hearing about Gods work in Greece!

Operation Christmas Child Collection

Sunday, November 13th is Operation Christmas Child Collection
Day! We will be collecting and praying for our shoe boxes. There
are only 2 weeks left to make a box and share the love of Christ!
Please note:

Sign out your box(es) at the back of the Worship Center.

Take a wooden top to put in your box.

Be encouraged to pay online at

operationchristmaschild.com and print out labels with
bar codes so we can track where our boxes are going.

Pray for the child receiving your box.
