Students will be spread out along a line, with three taggers in the middle. The three taggers, also known as
the Pumpkins, will be awaiting in the middle of the playing field. There are three savers, also known as

Set Induction 1-2 Minute(s)
Today, we will be continuing skill development for football. Last week, we started with throwing. Can
someone tell me how we throw a football? Good! In continuing where we left off, we will be in stations to
work on drills that you may see in a game.
divide students into stations before next set of instructions*
Station one will be a refresher on throwing and catching, where you will be throwing for accuracy, and then
for distance with a partner (similar to last week). Station two will consist of catching passes on the run. Are
we ready?! Lets go!
Purpose:
Students will be able to work on their accuracy in throwing to a partner at a different distances. Students

Lesson Core - Task 2: 6 Minutes: Learning to Be: Wide Receiver
One position in football that is very important is a wide receiver. A wide receiver catches the pass from the
quarterback (often on the run). In this station, you will be asked to receive a pass from the quarterback,
while on the run. Ren/Chris will be throwing the football to you, and you will jog back to him afterwards
and go to the back of the line for another turn.
