MERCY IN MOTION STATIONS

Prayer Spaces
Labyrinth:

Grab your jacket, follow the signs and head outside for this
reflective prayer style. It looks a bit like a maze, but you
really just follow the path into and out of the center as you
meditate. Resources are available to help you make the
best use of this walking prayer.

Stations of the Cross:

Along the hall between the gym and the Labyrinth are red
signs with QR Codes that connect you with virtual Stations
of the Cross, so grab a smart phone (or a friend with one)
and pray along with Christ as you reflect upon his passion
and amazing love for us!

The Oblate Sisters of Sacred Heart of Jesus:

Would you like to see if your life is in

balance? Stop by and play Giant Jenga with them.

Greater Ohio Area SuperKids Classic, Inc.:

Come play a game that helps you better


understand how people with disabilities may need to do things a little differently than the way other do
the same thing. We will also play a slide show about our race with opportunities to volunteer next
summer.

The Ursuline Sisters:


Walsh University:

Join them and add something special to your day!

They will challenge you with a game on the iPad and offer you some sweet

rewards for your efforts.

Matthew 8:20:

Stop by and see how this wonderful ministry serves the homeless population in

downtown Canton.

CTNY and the Society of St. Paul:

Do you want to be you on television? They want to ask


you questions about our faith and then share your responses on CTNY, the Catholic Television Network
of Youngstown.

Stark County Waste Management:

Learn about the problems in our community with drugs and mental illness. They have
programs that may help those in need or their loved ones suffering with those afflicted.

Caf Augustine:

Stop by to learn how this ministry is seeking to help other youth your age living in
poverty and affected by violence and neglect in the Youngstown area. This nonprofit cafe serves as the
primary training ground for students who desire to make a positive change in their lives.

Sole Hope and the National Council of Catholic Women:

The children in Uganda are


in need of shoes and Sole Hope has developed a program to employ the Ugandan people and make shoes
for the children. Stop by to meet the representatives from the National Council of Catholic Women and
cut out a piece of a shoe to be a part of this interesting mission.

St. Joseph Soup Kitchen:

Volunteers serve many western Stark County residents each week.


Help them out by adding a little joy to their meal by designing placemats for them to use during the
holiday season.

Meals on Wheels:

Feeding the hungry is one of the acts of Mercy, make it even more special by
making a card to accompany a meal for a shut-in and bringing a smile to someones face.

Stewardship Commission:

Join us in celebrating JOY and GRATITUDE! Come write, draw on


our banner and display what makes you happy and what you are grateful for.

Alliance Catholic Worker House:

Stop by and make a tag and treat bag to make life a little

better for the needy in Eastern Stark County.

The Office of Pro-Life, Marriage & Family:

Do you have a prayer petition for yourself or


a loved one? Add a link or two to our prayer chain. We will be offering up this chain at our Mass with
Bishop Murry today.

Hammer and Nails:

Learn about an outreach ministry that assists disadvantaged homeowners in


Stark County. They try to get area schools to support them and you can too. Stop by to see how you can
be a part of this endeavor and cut out some tools of their trade.

Sisters of the Congregation of the Divine Spirit from the House of Loretto :

In
keeping with our theme of Mercy, the sisters are going to send you on your way with a daily reminder to
pray that is easy to use and stylish.

Campus Ministry from Kent and Youngstown State Universities:

Take a spin-or

two-on the prize wheel and see if you come away with an amazing prize.

Sisters of Notre Dame:

Top off your life with love, justice and mercy. Stop by and get a little
reward for making this wonderful choice.

Catholic Charities of Stark and Portage County:

What do you know about the people in


our community that need assistance in their daily lives? Stop by to play a trivia game that will surely be
eye opening and educational.

Mercy Medical Center:

Practice Anytime CPR on Minnie Annie so you are ready if the


situation arises. They also have a basket of goodies to raffle off.

Ben Hurs Photo Stand:

Just for fun, take a selfie riding in Ben Hurs Chariot!

Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry:

Stop by to pick up free resources like Oye


Magazine and Living with Christ booklets. Pick up an NCYC sticker, too!

Celebrate the Mercy of God in Reconciliation!


As you enjoy your dinner take some time to reach out to our visiting Priests!
Fr. Conoboy, Fr. Weikert, Fr. Finnerty, Fr. Sheridan and possibly others will
be available to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation with you during
this time if you so choose.
