INTRODUCTION

Dominos Malaysia
In Malaysia, Domino's Pizza Malaysia was officially launched by Tom Monaghan, founder of
Domino's Pizza Inc, in September 1997.Malaysia's bullish food and beverage industry coupled
with Domino's promise of quality food and delivery service was highly accepted and gained new
customers nationwide.Dominos Pizza is the award winner of the 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012 Gold
Franny Award, a distinguished Achievement Award of the International Franchise Association at
the Worldwide Rally Las Vegas in May. Dominos Pizza Malaysia and Singapore also received
HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2013 award by HR Asia. This prestigious award
recognises corporations with significant levels of employee engagement and excellent workplace
culture.
Dominos Pizza is one of the 20 companies selected for 2013 to make it to the winning list.As at
Jan 2016, there are 147 stores operating all over Malaysia with 50 in Selangor, 25 in Wilayah
Persekutuan, 3 in Putrajaya, 17 in Johor, 7 in Negeri Sembilan, 10 in Pulau Pinang, 13 in Perak,
3 in Malacca, 6 in Kedah, 5 in Pahang, 3 in Kelantan, 4 in Terengganu and 1 in Perlis.With the
healthy growth in Malaysia, Domino's take extended it presence to neighbouring Singapore in
2009. There are currently 22 stores operating in Singapore and growing aggressively.
Globally, Dominos Pizza, Inc. operates a network of over 10,000 owned and franchised stores
throughout the U.S. and international markets. Dominos is the worlds leading pizza delivery
company committed to leading the industry in product quality and operational excellence.

ADVERTISEMENT

Advertisement or advertising is a form of marketing communication used


to promote or sell something, usually a business's product or service. The purpose of advertising
may also be to reassure employees or shareholders that a company is viable or successful.
Advertising messages are usually paid for by sponsors and viewed via various old media
including mass media such as newspaprr, magazines, television advertisement, radio
advertisement,outdoor advertising or direct mail or new media such as blogs, websites or text
messages.

The advertiser of this advertisement is dominos Malaysia itself through their own website
www.dominosmalaysia.com where publics can see their latests info about the product and any
other promotions.Publics akso can order the pizzas online through the website and pcked it up at
the nearest store to them.This website will update the information and promotion day ti day so
people can easily can acess their product.They have their own designer to create an interesting
advertisement so they can attract people easily compare with their competitor which is pizza hut.

The Objective
1) To persuade and inform publics about their product and their curren promotion.
2) To create a good image of their company among publics.
3) To save money and time by using online advertising.
4) To compete with other competitor such as pizza hut and Canadian pizza.

Target audience.
Childrens- Dominos will do advertising during school holidays to attract school childrens.
Families- They also do some promotion to families such as combo set and diner set for family.
Teenagers- Dominos also have advertise sets for teenagers such as ala carte and dine in
promotions.
Schools- Dominos also do some school promotions such as buy one free one pizzas

SWOT ANALYSIS

STRENGHT
Dominos always do promotions and advertisement to all level target audience such as
teenagers,families and school students.They provide the combo set for all types of buyers
such as family combos and school promotions.So,this will attract people to try their
products.
WEAKNESS

They have other competitors such as pizza hut and Canadian pizza which have same
output as their product.For example,chicken pepparoni pizza can easily get in these three
pizza shop which come out with same taste.

OPPURTUNITIES
Dominos have their own customer care and delivery system to the public places.publics
can order the pizza through online and customer service by providing their
information.Then the pizza will delevired to the address.
THREATS

Dominos advertisement and promotion does not reached people at out of the city because
the food that provide by dominos is based on Italian style.Some of the people does not
like it very much.some of them also might not interested in pizza.So they do not bother
about the advertisement.So,they have to choose place and the right tools for advertise
their product to the people.

CONCLUSIONS

A company that needs to advertise itself and/or its products hires an advertising agency. The
company briefs the agency on the brand, its imagery, the ideals and values behind it, the target
segments and so on. The agencies convert the ideas and concepts to create the visuals, text,
layouts and themes to communicate with the user. After approval from the client, the ads go on
air, as per the bookings done by the agency's media buying unit.
DOMINOS Pizza Malaysia is offering pizza lovers a 30% discount on all its a-la-carte menu
items.This great value-for-money offer was prompted by concerns over the rising cost of living
and other challenges faced by consumers today.We felt it was timely to introduce this promotion
to help ease the burden of our customers said Dominos Pizza Malaysia and Singapore general
manager, operations Shamsul Amree Ab Rahman.The promotion includes all Dominos pizzas,
sides, desserts and beverages.Customers will be able to sample everything offered at Dominos
during this period said Dominos Malaysia and Singapore senior manager marketing Linda
Hassan.The discount, however, is not valid for set meals or other promotions and
coupons.Customers can dine-in, take-out or have their orders delivered.However, additional
charges apply for the First Class pizza range, Cheese Burst Double Decker, Extreme Edge,
Cheesy Pan Crust, Half and half pizza crust, orders of extra cheese and toppings or
condiments.The promotion is available at all Domino outlets in Peninsular Malaysia until March
1.Customers can expect more promotions coming their way throughout 2015 Linda said, adding
that it was expecting to open another 20 to 25 outlets.
