AniMapper Summary
AniMapper is designed for every type of animator in the market. From students to
professionals we aim to give the world a powerful app that allows users to break down
live action footage from their phones into frame counts for movement study. This
system is designed to be flexible and allow for image exports, frame timing ( ones and
twos), and most importantly scrubbing through their captured footage.

Structure Map / Handler

Capture Mode
This option opens the camera and presents the user with the option
to begin recording with the camera actively displaying footage. This mode
is central to the app and will provide the following features.
Video Capture:

This feature allows the camera to

record at 24 fps. (This is to be
interfaced via a start button, timer,
and end button.)

Option to Process and save or

Re-Capture Footage:

The user may not be satisfied with

the footage obtained and will
receive a query on whether to keep
the footage or scrap the footage
and start again. (This will appear
via a confirmation window overlay).
Upon saving the User will be taken
to a loading screen (If necessary)
while the footage is being
processed for frames and then the
user will load into the Reel Mode.

Options Button:

This navigation will allow the users

to enter another mode as well as
the settings menu.

Camera Switch Button

This allows the user to switch from

the default rear camera to the front
facing camera, for lip syncing or
facial animations.

Auto Focus (User Tap Input):

This will allow the user to specify

the focus of the footage.

Reel Mode
This mode allows users to view the footage they have captured and
manipulate it. They can manipulate the reel by removing frames, setting
their animation count to 2, and allowing the users to scrub, with a swiping
motion, forward and backward through frames.

Display:

Users will be shown frame 1 of the

footage they have just recorded as
well as the interface for
analysis.This is separated via a
timeline on the bottom containing
thumbnails, and timeline options to
be specified later.

Scrubbing:

Users will be able to, via swiping

left and right, scrub through the
images.

Time Zoom:

This gesture will allow the user to

zoom in on the timeline. ( Note:
Does not enlarge images, this
zoom moves, for example, from
hours, and zooms into minutes,
seconds, and then into frame
counts.)

Frame Selection:

Users can select individual/multiple

frames to delete from the reel by
swiping the frame up and out of the
timeline. Or after a long held tap to
export the selected images, or
change the frames display count
count to 2s.

Navigation Button:

This navigation will allow the users

to enter another mode as well as
the settings menu.

Manage Mode

Display:

This mode consists of a library

view showing all reels that have
been saved and their size.

Navigation:

This mode allows the users to scroll

up and down through a monthly
timeline showing past reels they
have recorded.

Users must be able to select one or

multiple reels via a check box. They
will then have to options to:
Delete the reel - Remove the reel
from the phones memory.
Load the reel - Load the selected
reel into the reel mode.
Export the reel - Export the images
in an image sequence.

Settings Menu
Each Mode will have a settings or options tab available with option for that
current mode. The apps additional settings can be found via the manager
mode menu with the following options.

Optional Features:

All additional features of an optional

nature can be found here.

App Storage Location:

This allows the users the option to

save to external storage. (Only
available for android)

App Version:

The App version for bug fixes.

Pricing Plan
For simplicitys sake this app will only have one version initially with any
additional features being added to a premium version for release at a later
point with a higher price and better support.
Initial pricing puts the app at $4.99 via the Android Play Store or the Apple
Store but is subject to change. Windows phones will not be supported nor
will the market be considered.

Rollout Plan
The app is to be released via whichever format proves to be less
troublesome and we do not expect a simultaneous release. However, the
app will be released for both formats.
The name will be TradeMarked if sales exceed 1,000 units and show a
continual increase in sales.
Premium versions with additional feature are to be released at a later point
and are not planned for initial release.

Additional Features
Additional features are not guaranteed to be released in the initial version
and need multiple tests and revisions. They will be developed if the app is
moving forward with successful continuous sales.

Support
Support for the android and iOS market is to be regulated with bug fixes
and patches for problems on a monthly basis in both stores.
Customer support will be responded to promptly with bugs being forwarded
to a bug collection list to be sorted for priority.
All refund requests will be reviewed via both managers for reasoning.
Response emails will be sent same day when possible.
