SUPPLEMENTARY SPECIFICATIONS
SECTION 1 - CONTENTSPRELIMINARIES
1.1
General
1.1.1
This Supplementary Specification shall be read in conjunction with the JTC Corporation
Standard Specification for Civil & Structural Works [Edition November 2011] & JTC
Corporation Standard Preliminaries [2 nd Edition - April 2015]. In the event of any
discrepancies between the Supplementary Specifications and the Standard
Specifications & Preliminaries, the former shall prevail.
1.1.2
The successful Tenderer shall be bound by all the documents forming this Contract and
he shall be deemed to have acquainted himself with all such documents before tendering
as no claim for extra payments for lack of knowledge in this respect will be entertained.
1.1.3
In case of discrepancies between the documents, the Contractor shall immediately refer
the matter to the Superintending Officer. The Superintending Officers interpretation and
decision shall be final.
1.2
Standard Preliminaries
1.2.1
The provisions in JTC Corporation Standard Preliminaries [2 nd Edition - April 2015] shall
apply to the whole of the Works included in this Contract.
1.2.2
Clause 62 Site Office, Equipment and Amenities of JTC Corporation Standard

Preliminaries for Construction Works [2 nd Edition - April 2015], item 15 on Computer
Hardware, Software and Peripherals shall be supplemented with Section 1.2.3 below.
1.2.3
The Contractor shall supply and install one (1) computer at the Site Office each with the
following items including testing, commissioning and warranty for the exclusive use of the
Superintending Officer:
PentiumTM - 4 Core 2 Duo Processor Microcomputers
At least 2 GB RAM
A 160 GB or higher Formatted Hard Disk with an average seek time of 12ms or
below
1 unit of wireless modem and/or wireless router or USB modem or equivalent that
is able to connect back to main office
At least 3 PCI slots and those with more than 3 PCI slots should include 1 set of
shared slots
On board IDE Controller (Support 4 fast-IDE interface with DMA or PIO transfer)
