CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. All entries to be printed on entry form enclosed. Additional copies may be obtained
from the Secretary.
2. Entry and box fees by cash or cheque must accompany entry form or be deposited
to account 01-0367-0011777-00 by internet banking before closing date.
3. Entry forms must be completed and signed personally by exhibitor who agrees to
comply with the conditions of entry.
4. Entries after closing date cannot be accepted except for Progeny Classes 43-44.
5. All entries to be registered with the Welsh Pony and Cob Society of New Zealand
Inc in either Pure Bred or Part Bred register and in the case of foals, to be eligible
for registration.
6. In all classes, where applicable, the name of the pony, age, sire, dam and Studbook
number shall be given on the entry form. Those stallions and Geldings over the age
of three (3) years with temporary numbers will not be eligible to enter. Ponies
registered as geldings must be gelded. Stallions must be fully registered and not on
Temp colt papers
7. The responsibility for the accuracy of the description or pedigree and for eligibility
of the animal to compete, rests with the exhibitor.
8. When an animal has been duly entered and catalogued in any class the substitution
of another animal will not be permitted unless permission has been approved by
committee before show day.
9. All stallions or colts 1 year and over must wear a bit.
10. All stallions and colts over the age of 1 year to be individually boxed at all times
unless being judged in the ring.
11. All Stallions must have S red badge attached to either side of the bridle and
Halter at all times.
12. No Colt or Stallion to be tied to Truck or float at any time. They must be boxed
when not competing in the ring.
13. In all classes Ridden and In Hand any entire exhibit (Stallion or Colt) must be
handled / ridden by persons 16yrs and Over.
14. Boxes available from 4pm Saturday to 5.00 pm Sunday. For accommodation
outside these hours please contact the Secretary. Refer boxes for further
conditions.
15. Judging will commence at 8.30am unless otherwise stated.
Entrants not present for judging at the commencement of the class will not be
admitted for judging.
16. The Judges decision will be final.
17. The committee at its absolute discretion may refuse an entry or cancel an entry
already accepted or decline to admit to the grounds or remove any animal or
exhibitor from the said grounds.
18. The committee will not be responsible for any accident, loss or damage that
may be caused to or inflicted by any animal, person or property.
19. The committee reserves the right to make any alteration to the program or postpone
or cancel the show as it sees fit.
20. The committee reserves the right to amalgamate any classes if less than 4 entries in
one class.
21. Purebred ponies must not be plaited in the Led and Ridden sections
22. Regulation hard hats must be worn in all Ridden classes. Stewards will inspect.
23. A refund of 75% of entry fee will be given on the presentation of Vets certificate or
Doctors certificate.
24. No Dogs allowed on the ground at all times.
