Abstract
1. Introduction
2. System Framework
4. Conclusion
A framework of real time solid waste bin monitoring
system is presented that uses wireless sensor network and
communication technologies. The implementation of the
system with graphical user interface is contributed to
provide data about the real time bin status. The real time
accurate data from the implemented system could be used
for the efficient solid waste management system. The
system can collect accurate data on real time which can be
used further as an input to a management system. Thus the
system help to reduce operation costs and GhG emission
by feeding the real time bin information to an efficient
route optimization algorithm.
