Case Analysis:
Pakistan has lately been a nation that is being seen to as The Terrorist State by
the countries over the world. After the attack on the Indian Soldiers at Uri, India
decided to conduct a surgical strike to retaliate against Pakistan allowing the
terror groups to settle along the LOC. The surgical strike appeared to be a major
setback on the part of the Pakistan Govt. followed by a series of turbulence be it
the cancellation of SAARC summit or the breach of Pak diplomacy with other
nations. Every nation has been condemning terrorism (or Pakistan maybe?
why?). Although China is there to back Pak but considering the bigger super
powers in the picture, Pak is still not secured.
Here comes the twist. You are a team of CIA (Central Intelligence Agency)
operating in Ooty (India). You have had been studying the Indo-Pak Diplomatic
relations since a year and are quite well-informed of its various dimensions. After
proper processing and analysing all the major happenings between Indo and Pak,
you are to take your stand as to what might this tension between two countries
lead to, in the immediate future. How would that in any way benefit or
inadvertently affect USA? Remember you are the third party observing form the
prospective of both the nations but you may be inclined towards any country
considering good terms of that country with USA. You need understanding of the
entire idea and present it to us. Should we expect another World War?
Being the CIA agent, prepare a presentation to highlight your understanding
before the Director of National Intelligence, USA (in simple the judges).
