Salmos 97:10
El Seor ama al que aborrece el mal, protege la vida de sus fieles
y los libra de los malvados.

Si decimos que Dios es amor, entonces como podemos decir que Dios odia?
Dios ama al pecador pero odia al pecado. A pesar de que las personas son
malas por naturaleza, el Seor en su inmenso amor dice su Palabra que nos
ama con amor eterno.
Pero asi es, Dios odia todo lo malo que hay en el mundo: Dios odia el
pecado, Dios odia la mentira, Dios odia el mal, Dios odia la discordia o
division entre hermanos, Dios odia el falso testimonio y la murmuracion.
El Seor Jesucristo nos dice tambien en su Palabra que seamos santos
porque El es Santo;
Los que aman a Dios, odian el mal; por eso El nos pide: Amor en lugar de
odio. Confianza en lugar de miedo. Esperanza en lugar de ilusion. Verdad en
lugar de error. Perdon en lugar de castigo. Arrepentimiento en lugar de
penitencia. Vida en lugar de muerte. Salvacion en lugar de condenacion.
Bendicion en lugar de maldicion.
Ama a Dios implica responsabilidad, pero con esta responsabilidad de odiar
o rechazar el mal, el Seor nos da una promesa que El guardara la vida de
sus fieles hasta el dia final.
Respetar al Seor es odiar el mal. Aborrezco la soberbia y la arrogancia, el
mal proceder y la mentira.
Si amas a Dios, si lo respetas, si lo obedeces, entonces tienes que odiar el
mal. Ahora la pregunta es: Qu tanto odias el mal?
Hay una nica forma de vencer el mal y nos la dice Romanos 12:21 No
seas vencido de lo malo, sino vence con el bien el mal. Si queremos vencer
el mal tenemos que hacer el bien, incluso aunque la situacin no nos afecte
directamente. Puede que veamos en la calle a un joven golpeando a un nio
menor o hacindole alguna maldad Qu vamos a hacer? Si tienes a dos
compaeros

de

trabajo

pelendose

constantemente Qu

vamos

hacer? Hacernos de "la vista gorda, no creo que sea lo que Dios
quiere. Dios quiere que seamos agentes de cambio en esta sociedad y para
ello: tenemos que hacer algo.
No s si recuerdas la historia del Buen Samaritano, pero El Buen Samaritano
decidi hacer el bien aunque no fuera algo comn.
2.- Mal que hay en nosotros.

El Apstol Pablo lo dijo mejor que nadie en Romanos 7:19: "Porque no hago
el bien que quiero, sino el mal que no quiero eso hago." Cmo podemos
combatir el mal que hay en nosotros? Habr alguna forma de vencerlo? Por
supuesto que podemos vencerlo. El captulo de Romanos 8 nos dice cmo
podemos hacer para vivir en el Espritu y es viviendo en el Espritu la nica
forma en que podemos vivir agradando a Dios. Odia el mal. Si ests
luchando con algn tipo de pecado, te animo a que lo odies. Odia el pecado,
pero no te odies a ti. Piensa en todo lo que ese pecado produce en ti:
pensamientos incorrectos, sentimientos incorrectos, actitudes incorrectas.
Como conclusin: El pecado me SEPARA de Dios. Si amamos a Dios
tendremos que darle la espalda al pecado, incluso a algunas personas o
actividades que no nos ayudan.
La orden de Dios es nunca odiar a las personas sino amarlos. Marcos
12:31 dice: Amars a tu prjimo como a ti mismo. No es odiar al prjimo es
amarlo como t te amas.
ODIAR EL PECADO NO ES ODIAR A LAS PERSONAS. Los pecados todos son
iguales y producen el mismo efecto: Separacin de Dios. Ante Dios todos los
pecados son iguales. Mentir es tan malo como robar, la rebelda es tan mala
como la adivinacin, la obstinacin es tan detestable como la idolatra, el
adulterio es tan malo como el homosexualismo. Pecado es pecado, aunque
las personas celebren el Carnaval y quieran disfrazarlo. O agradamos a Dios
o le desagradamos
Dios no quiere que odies a las personas. Recordemos 1 Juan 4:20" Si alguno
dice: Yo amo a Dios, y aborrece a su hermano, es mentiroso. Pues el que no
ama a su hermano a quien ha visto, cmo puede amar a Dios a quien no ha
visto?".
Conclusiones:

Si amas a Dios, odias el pecado. Si respetas a Dios, aborreces el mal.

Odia el pecado tanto que ests dispuesto a hacer cualquier cosas por

dejarlo.
Ama a las personas como a ti mismo.
Pero por encima de esto Ama a Dios con todo tu corazn, con toda tu

alma, con toda tu mente y con todas tus fuerzas.

Si amas a Dios tanto como l quiere seguramente odiars el pecado

tanto como l lo odia.

Si amas a Dios tanto como l te ama, amars a las personas y a ti

mismo tanto como l te ama.

Amar a Dios es odiar el mal.

Psalms 97:10
Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his
saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
If we say that God is love, then how can we say that God hates?
God loves the sinner but hates the sin. Although people are bad by nature,
the Lord in his immense love His Word says that He loves us with an
everlasting love.
But so it is, God hates all evil in the world: God hates sin, God hates lies,
God hates evil, God hates discord or division between brothers, God hates
false witness and backbiting.
The Lord Jesus Christ tells us in His word that we should be holy because He
is holy;
Those who love God, hate evil; why He asks us: love instead of hate.
Confidence rather than fear. Hope rather than illusion. Truth rather than
error. Forgiveness rather than punishment. Repentance instead of penance.
Life instead of death. Salvacion instead of condemnation. Blessing instead of
a curse.
Love God implies responsibility, but this responsibility to hate or reject evil,
the Lord gives us a promise that he will keep his faithful life until the last
day.
Respect the Lord is to hate evil. I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior
and lies.
If you love God, if you respect, if you obey, then you have to hate evil. Now
the question is: How much do you hate evil?
There is one way to overcome evil and Romans 12:21 tells us " Be not
overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. " If we want to overcome evil we

have to do good, even if the situation does not affect us directly. You may
see on the street a young man beating a minor child or making any evil
What are we going to do? If you have two coworkers constantly quarreling
What are we going to do? Make us of "blind eye" I do not think that is what
God wants God wants us agents of change in society and for it. We have to
do something.
I do not know if you remember the story of the Good Samaritan Good
Samaritan but decided to do good even if not commonplace.
Evil in us:
The Apostle Paul said it best in Romans 7:19: " For the good that I would I do
not: but the evil which I would not, that I do".

How can we fight evil in us? Is there any way to defeat him? Of course we
can beat him. The chapter of Romans 8 tells us how we can do to live in the
Spirit and is living in the Spirit the only way we can live pleasing to God. He
hates evil. If you're struggling with some sort of sin, I encourage you to hate
him. He hates sin, but do not hate you. Think of everything that sin
produces in you: wrong thoughts, wrong feelings, wrong attitudes. In
conclusion: sin separates me from God. If we love God we must turn away
from sin, even some people or activities that do not help us.
God's command is never hate people but love them. Mark 12:31 says: Thou
shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than
these. It's not hate your fellow man is to love like you love yourself.

SIN NOT HATE HATE PEOPLE. All sins are equal and have the same effect:
Separation from God. Before God all sins are equal. Lying is as bad as
stealing, rebellion is as bad as divination, so detestable stubbornness is as
idolatry, adultery is as bad as homosexuality. Sin is sin, although people
celebrate Carnival and want to disguise it. O please God or displease him
God does not want you to hate people. Remember 1 John 4:20 " If a man
say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his
brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?".
Conclusions:
If you love God, you hate the sin. If you respect God, you hate evil.
He hates sin so much that you are willing to do any things to quit.
Love people as yourself.
But above this Love God with all your heart, with all your soul, with
all your mind and with all your strength.

 If you love God as much as he wants surely hate sin as much as he

hates it.
If you love God as much as he loves you, will love people and
yourself as much as he loves you.
To love God is to hate evil.
