RE: Delay in Release of Official List of Candidates for the 2016 Sanggunian Special
Elections
Good day!
The release of the official list of candidates for the upcoming 2016 Sanggunian Special
Elections shall be delayed. The Commission has forwarded the list of aspiring candidates to
ADAA on October 29, 2016. We are currently awaiting the clearance from the Office of the
Associate Dean for Academic Affairs regarding the candidates academic standing. This is with
regard to the provision in Article V of the Electoral Code which states that candidates must not
be subject to academic probation.
The Commission shall release the Official List of Candidates as soon as we have received and
processed the data from ADAA.
