MEMORANDUM

SVP - Engineering & Port Development

FROM:

Engineering Manager

DATE:

RE:

Proposed Sewage Treatment Plant - New Falmouth Market,

Trelawny

Subsequent to the memorandum to recommend Isratech Waterworks to Surrey

Paving & Aggregates Company Ltd. for the award of a contract to supply and
install a sewage plant at the captioned project site, on June 02, 2015 we have
received a revised proposal from Isratech in the amount of 5.118M
The revised proposal submitted by Isratech has taken in consideration the revised
maximum Daily Peak Flow of 44m3 and thus , resulted in 50% increase in the size
of the reed-bed. Relatively, the cost had only marginally moved by approximately
4.2% from $7200/m3 to $7500/m3.
Additionally, the combined cost of Design and Tech Support has declined by
approximately 32.7% when compared to the previous submission. However, a
new line, contingency of ten percent of the subtotal, was added in the amount of
$4.095M. Anyway, this will have to be reduced from the total as the contingency
amount belongs to the client and thus the PAJ. The table below summarized the
revised submission.
