Green Technology
& Management

We live in a world shaped by Engineering. As

the population increases, the 'needs' envelope
of the population is also expanding; and
engineering can perform a decisive role in
promoting
societal
development,
and
improving quality of life for mankind.
Indias march to economic progress is
dependent on strengthening its regional
competitiveness to attract industry. It is
essential for Business Leaders across the
private and public enterprise to leverage
technological advances to create an
environment conducive for delivering broadbased sustainable growth. This requires a
balanced mix of large enterprise in the public

and private sectors, entrepreneurial start-ups,

and innovators with ideas that can be taken
forward as products and solutions.
Innovation can contribute to economic
progress by commercializing productivityenhancing products and solutions that
effectively deploy the nation's labour and
capital resources. Innovation has the
additional benefit of expanding the number
and value of new products and solutions that
global citizens are willing to buy, and this can
significantly enhance the Government's 'Make
in India' initiative.
There is a unique opportunity for India's
Business and
Academia Leaders to

collaborate with Policy-makers and the

Government to build an environment that
promotes innovation. It is possible to achieve
this by creating and nurturing innovationfocused collaborations between young and
nimble start-ups, established companies,
Academia, and Research Organizations.
The 4th edition of the well-receivedIndian
Technology Congress is focused on
addressing
and
identifying
solution
approaches to challenges faced by academia
and industry in developing Excellence in
Engineering
Practice:
Networking
and
Collaboration.

The First, Second and Third Edition of the Indian Technology Congress (ITC
2013, ITC 2014 & ITC 2015) was successfully conducted during 24-25 July
2013, 21-22 August 2014, 29-30 July 2015 respectively with more than 800
participants from Academic, R&D, Industry and Governments.
Encouraged by positive response and feedback, it is planned to organize
Fourth Edition of Indian Technology Congress - 2016 (ITC 2016) during
01-02 December 2016 at Jnana Jyoti Auditorium, Central College Campus,
Bangalore.
