Dayananda Sagar University:

Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) is a
premier multi-disciplinary private university
launched by Dayananda Sagar Institutions (DSI)
and the academic programs of the university
started in the year 2015, in the state of
Karnataka. DSU inherits the great legacy of
DSI. It offers courses in Engineering, Computer
Applications, Sciences, Arts and Management at
the Bachelors, Masters and PhD levels. It houses

About WTHSNP 2016

The National Design & Research Foundation
(NDRF) under the aegis of the Institution of
Engineers is organising an International Workshop on
Futuristic Healthcare Technologies: Emerging Trends
(Indian Technology Congress ITC 2016) on 25th and
26 th of August 2016. As a prelude to this workshop,
Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) and NDRF are
jointly organizing a Pre-conference Workshop on
Trends in Healthcare Technologies Sensors,
Networks and Protocols on 24th August 2016.
The Workshop will cover the lectures
delivered by eminent speakers from reputed academic
institutions and the industry.

Medical devices are one subset of health technologies

that have the potential to save lives or enhance the
quality of life, which can be leveraged by MedTech
organizations. The Pre-conference workshop is aimed
at giving an insight into the current trends in the
Healthcare Technologies. The lectures by eminent
speakers cover the latest developments in bio-sensors
used in medical applications, the networking of
equipment and the networking protocols used in the
Healthcare environment. The workshop is expected to
help Academicians, Doctors, Scientists, Directors and
CEOs of Healthcare Industry, Researchers, Engineers,
UG and PG students in enhancing their knowledge in
the latest developments in the field of Healthcare
Technologies.
