The textbook give all the information about the feeding technique for
the infant from 6 to 12 months old in detail: what should be done or
not at the certain age and time to avoid any complicated. The textbook
also explain why the mother should not introduce solid fruit, juice or
water before the infant is 6 months old. On the other hand, the CLPN
competency give the big picture about what PN can do or expect to do
within their scope of practice. As the result, the textbook and the
CLPN competency work together very well.
The rate proficiency for this chosen competency would be excellent.
After reading the textbook, I have the confident that I can apply all the
useful information to the real life when I become a nurse. I believe as
a nurse, you need to have the knowledge about your job and know
what you can do to provide care to the patient safely.
