Dream Fairy Tale

A little girl explores an ancient tree house, picking up and
observing various objects that say more than words ever could. She
sees a shoe, an ancient canoe, and a broken umbrella. These items
have been here far longer than her feeble four years on this planet;
she is unaware of the history here. Curious to see whats beyond her
four walls, the girl climbs down the tree house, taking the ladder one
rung at a time. She is cautiously enthusiastic when she hits the spongy
floor; she feels as though she has never been outside the wooden
castle. The girl jumps across the tree roots that emerge from the
ground like tiny hurdles- a challenge for her to surpass. As she explores
her newfound surroundings, the girl hears an unfamiliar growl from
somewhere deep in the forest. Suddenly, she sees a flash of tawny
gold zooming through the trees. The air around her shifts from one of
wonderment and exploration to one of danger and frenetic energy. The
girl feels the impulse to run away, as though the mysterious creature is
chasing her. As she runs through the jungle, she feels the wind
whipping her hair against her tearstained cheeks; she is beyond
terrified. This is the meaning of fear, which is a new experience for the
girl. Having not heard any sounds for a while now, the girl risks turning
around to look for her attacker. She sees a massive lion pursuing her,
chasing her through the underbrush. However, the girl risks another
look at the beast and sees that her closest friends are all riding atop
the lion, egging him on to destroy her. The girl turns a corner and falls
into a deep hole; deeper, darker, and scarier than she has ever been
before. The scene fades to black as she lets the terror in her soul out
with a bloodcurdling scream.
