1. Pre activity

Asking and answering in various matters relating to conditions of students


Motivating students to learn by introducing examples of some simple
commands by asking them using English to stimulate learning that will be

given
Jot down the topics to be studied and discussed
Mention the learning objectives to be achieved in learning.

2. Whilst Activity

Researcher explains the materials will be discussed


Researcher provides instruments for students to be used in research
Researcher lists some simple commands used to act out by using Simon says

game
Researcher and the students discuss the commands and try to act out it
Asking one of the students to act out or respond by referring to the rules of

Simon Says Game


Teachers give time to the students to continue the simple commands used
Providing reinforcement to the discussions and simple commands in previous

teaching and learning


The researcher concludes the discussion result with students related to Simon
says game.

RESEARCH INSTRUMENT IN POST TEST

It is the final test of the study which is conducted after the treatment. The post
test is given in both of control and experimental groups which have the same
question and topic with the pretest in order to find out whether or not the use of
Simon Says game improves students listening skill. And below is the number of
imperative sentences that will be given to the students. Every single student will
be given only 10 imperative sentences.

RESEARCH INSTRUMENT IN PRE TEST

The pre test will be conducted as the next step on the procedure of the study.
The pre test is administered as the basic important information about the students
skill before the treatment is given. And below is the number of imperative
sentences that will be given to the students. Every single student will be given
only 10 imperative sentences.
1. Open your bag and take two books, please!
2. Take your pen on the table and put on your chair, please!
3. Move out from your table, please!
4. Run and go in the teacher, table!
5. Put the books in your bag!
6. Put your hand on your book, please!
7. Stand beside the whiteboard and rise your hands!
8. Hold your rule with your right hand, please!
9. Open your tie and wear again, please!
10. Sit down in the next chair, please!
11. Raise your left hand, please!
