1) Revised guidelines were given for energy

settlement and billing of solar rooftop

consumers vide ref (1) & (2) cited. As per these guide lines The energy generated from
solar rooftop consumer shall be adjusted against the consumption of energy from the
DISCOM every month.

2) In case of excess generation

(after adjustment) injected into DISCOM network in a

billing month will be carry forward to next month till every quarter end (instead of
every six months) and settlement will take place on average cost of supply(ACoS)
basis for net metering as determined by APERC from time to time.

3)

To enable these services to bill under solar net metering with sopt billing machines, the
following pre-requisites are to be fulfilled.

a) All the solar rooftop services shall be converted to High-valueA.,lonslab

The initial net meter import and export readings shall be updated for the service.
'lhen the spot billing data is to be downloaded and billed by giving current month
import and export readings.

d) The bill will be generated for net consumption (import units- export units).
e) If net consumption is negative then monthly minimum bill will be issued. The excess
units exported into DISCOM shall be recorded for making payment to the consumer
at the end of that quarter.

4) All the
