1. The United Republic of Tanzania has received a grant from the Arab Bank for
Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), towards the cost of the Technical
Assistance to Support the School of Kiswahili and Foreign Languages of the State
University of Zanzibar and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit for
payments under the contract for the Proposed Renovation and Upgrading Kiswahili
Learning Facilities for the State University of Zanzibar

2. The State University of Zanzibar now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified
contractor for the Proposed Renovation and Upgrading Kiswahili Learning

The deadline for submission of Bids is on or before 2nd December, 2016 at 10:00 hours.
Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of bidders
representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Conference Room
Administration Block, Tunguu Campus, the State University of Zanzibar.
8. Late Tenders, portion of quotations, electronic quotations, quotations not received,
quotations not opened at the quotation opening ceremony shall not be accepted for
evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
