What would you ask?

Before you embark on coding the analysis to get answers, what
other questions could be asked of the datasets described?
What countries would you be interested in? What groups of countries
might be interesting to analyse?

I would consider aggregating all the basic demographics of infections such as race, location,
age, income range, martial status, etc. Using the data above with some additional criteria may
help reveal a pattern to infection.

What advice will you certainly give on how to prevent spread of TB into massive
society/community in urban or rural areas? And how can someone protect themselves from
the infected individual? (edited)

I would actually like to look within income peer groups. So, for instance, what if we looked at
the world's poorest countries, then tried to figure out what made the difference. Variables we
could look at could include gov't expenditures, humidity and temperature, continent, language
spoken, level of education, ratings from NGOs in terms of democracy or freedom, etc.

Q - What is the trend over time in each country - increasing or decreasing.

Then i would be interested in knowing all of the various linkages - social determinants of
health, public health system etc.

I would like to see the number of people afflicted with TB living in third world countries as well
as the poverty level faced by these people. Are there more men or women with TB? How many
children have contracted TB? What is the spread of numbers regarding TB sufferers? Is TB
on the decline or on the rise? What are the various causes of TB?

Questions:
1. What is the relationship between World Bank income group and TB prevalence?
2. What is the trend in the death rate from 2007 to date, is it increasing or decreasing and
why?
Countries/Group of countries interested in: countries in West Africa & South America.
The countries are of interest to me because they comprise mainly of developing countries, of
which my country, Nigeria belongs. (edited)

I would like to see if there is any correlation between local and global climate (changes) and
the incidence of TB. or other disease, and weather-patterns over an extended period. I
particular to see if there are links to specific factors such as drought, floods,
increase/decrease in global and local mean temperatures etc.

I would be interested in projecting the datasets forwards to see when we are likely to
'eradicate' TB globally and perhaps even more importantly in the high disease burden
countries i.e. how realistic is the goal of eradication by 2035?

I would mainly ask about how many people in Scotland were prosecuted for fly-tipping (or
illegal dumping) over the past few years. I have asked Police Scotland under the Freedom of
Information Act for statistics on how many drivers were caught and prosecuted for littering but
each time they seem to make up excuses on how expensive it would cost them to find
information and why they should not comment. I have talked to my local MSP about this and
she told me that many public organisations often try to wriggle their way out of their obligations
if they could. She has not got back to me regarding this so far but I am hoping things do
change for the better.

So typical of these government agencies who hide behind the information act and
data protection in the name of laziness. They just could not be bothered. I suppose
Police in general are more interested in attending to domestics instead of creating
harmony, they light more fire and make a bad situation worse.

As the saying goes health is wealth. On that note, I will like to see countries where TB is more
prevalence and the years. I should be able to measure the different level of support.

I would be interested to see TB rates by continent and then by developed, semi-developed

and third-world countries. It would be interesting to see if countries with popular tourist
destinations are less likely to have high TB rates.

Since there are several variables that might affect the TB rates in a wide range of countries it
would be interesting to analyze which factors in the data sets presented in the links have major
incidence in high and low levels of TB in specifics countries or areas, in order to determine
feasible policies to prevent TB
