Description of Activities
-

Song: (2 minutes)
I will play a song about numbers from one to five. (I will play five little monkeys song. This
song about five little monkeys whose jump on the bed and each time one of them will fell off
to review the numbers)

Activity: Review the numbers from one to five with the students.(7 minutes)
I will give them envelop and I put inside it five card and in each card there are number and
symbols represent the number. When I ask students one of the numbers They will raise the
card.

Introduce the number six: (7 minutes)

I will play a song about number six then I will put a small six cars in front of the students then
I count cars with them to introduce number six.

Activity 1: count six things. (6 minutes)


I will give the student a lot of fruits pictures in the paper and they will circle just six of them.

Introduce the form of number six:(7 minutes)

I will play a video about how we write the number 6. After that, I will make a line in the
whiteboard then I teach the students how to write letter 6.

Link between the number and things. (2 minutes)


I will teach the students that the form of number 6 means the six symbols (cars) to link the
form of the number and the things.

Activity 2: link between the number and things (Draw six ice creams and color it then trace
the number six). (6 minutes)
The students will have a paper to draw five ice creams and color it. Then they will trace the
number six which is in the paper.

Activity 3: link between the number and things. (8 minutes)


Made six bananas by the clay and stick it in the tree picture then write number six in the
circle.

Extra activity: if I have more time, I will ask students to open their books to do the activity.
