In this post, I am going to write about Reliance Jio 4G Data Tariff Plans for Prepaid and Postpaid
users, Jio International Tariff Plans, Top-up Plans and SMS Plans. We all know that Reliance Jio
was launched like a storm and is offering 4G data plans at affordable rates to take over other
telcos like Airtel and Vodafone. This Post will be updated regularly with Reliance Jio Data Plan
Offers, Reliance Jio Postpaid & Prepaid Plans, Broadband, Wi-Fi Plans, Recharge offers and
more.
Reliance has now officially announced the Jio Tariff Plans ranging from Rs. 19 to Rs. 4999.
The Best thing about Reliance Jio is all Voice calls to any network in India will be truly free
when you buy Data Packs, and no Roaming charges across India. Reliance Jio is also offering
the lowest Data Tariff rates anywhere in the world. Jio will have based rate of 1/10 for the
current market rate. Rs 50 per GB (lowest in the world) Students will get additional 25% more
data on Jio main Tariffs.

JIORC 19: 100MB, Unlimted 4G at Night, 100 SMS, 200MB Hotspot Valid for one Day
JIORC129 750MB Data, Unlimted SMS, 4G Night Data, 1.5GB Hotspot Valid for 7 days
JIORC299 2GB Data, Unlimted SMS, 4G Night Data, 4GB Hotspot Valid for 21 Days.
JIORC149: 0.3GB of 4G data and up to 100 SMS valid for 28 days.
JIORC499: 4GB + Unlimited 4G at night and SMS, 8GB JioNet WiFi Valid for 28 Days.
JIORC999: 10GB + Unlimited 4G at night & SMS, 20GB JioNet Wifi, Valid for 28 Days.
JIORC1499: 20GB Data + Unlimited 4G at night & SMS, 40GB JioNet Valid for 28 Days.
JIORC2499: 35GB Data + Unlimited 4G at night & SMS, 70GB JioNet Valid for 28 Days.
JIORC3999: 60GB + Unlimited 4G at night & SMS, 120GB JioNet Valid for 28 Days.
JIORC4999: 75GB + Unlimited 4G at night & SMS, 150GB JioNet WiFi valid for 28 Days.
Night Unlimited 4G Data from 2 AM to 5 AM. The prepaid packs with denominations Rs.19,
Rs.129 and Rs.299, cannot be availed as a First recharge by new subscribers. Unutilized free
privileges will be forfeited at the end of validity.

Reliance Jio Top-up Plans for Prepaid users

Jio Welcome offer: All Jio premium services will be available for everyone free till the end of
the year.
Reliance has announced that they will be offering Jio SIM Cards for all users. Very soon, Jio will
be implementing Aadhar based signup, and customers can get Fully Activated Jio SIM Card in
less than 15 minutes. Also, have a look at Reliance Jio Mobile Number Portability.
Another good thing is Jio will not follow the industry practice of blackout days. Free SMS offers
will be applicable even during the festival days,

Reliance Jio 4G Data Tariff For Postpaid users

On Jio Postpaid Tariffs applicable taxes will be charged. The Postpaid subscribers opting for the
Auto-debit option using credit/debit cards/online transfer to pay their monthly mobile phone bill
and opting for e-bill will be accorded an extra 15% discount on the bill value.

Reliance Jio International Tariff Plans

You can find the Reliance Jio International Roaming Tariff Plans with Special rates here. All the
Reliance Jio 4G Plans can be availed by customers possessing an LTE compatible handset.
Reliance Jio Broadband Plans and Wi-Fi Plans are not yet listed. We will update them as soon as
they are published.
Update: Very soon, Jio will launch the MNP facility to customers those who like to join Jio
Network. Most of the users use their new Jio SIM card as a secondary number since they dont
want to lose their Primary Numbers. By Introducing MNP (Mobile Number Portability), the
users can turn from other Networks to Ril Jio without losing their Main Number. According to
telecom talk, the MNP users can enjoy the extensive Data and all benefits for 3 Months.
Update: The Jio 4G sim that comes with LYF smartphones are locked to the handset only for 90
Days. So, If you have been using an LYF smartphone for more than 90 Days, You can use your
Jio SIM on any smartphone of your preference.
Update: Now, Reliance Jio is preparing to offer free Jio 4G SIM for all the users who purchase a
smartphone priced 10,000 and above.
Update: Reliance Jio Infocomm is planning to provide unlocked SIM cards with unlimited 4G
preview offer for gaining 1 Crore users on board before the commercial launch.
Update: Now, the Jio users with the Preview offer have got a validity continuation for another 30
days through auto recharge. So, the users who got the newly lengthened benefits can enjoy Ril
Jio 4G services and unlimited benefits till 14th September.
Update Recharge and Bill: Jio adds Recharge, and Bill Payment features on the official
website Jio.com. Now, the users can recharge Mobile & JioFi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Home Broadband,
Jio Link, Jio Apps and Pay bills for the same either from Jio.com or My Jio App.
Update Hotstar in Jio Play: Mukesh Ambanis Reliance Jio has partnered with Hotstar to
offer free premium access to Hotstar content via Jio Play App. The Original cost of the Hotstar
App premium subscription is 199 per month.
Originally, Reliance Jio has offered SIM card only for the Jio Employees and later a Free Jio Sim
Card issued for Samsung Galaxy smartphone holders. Later, Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited
provided the SIM Cards for those who buy LFY smartphones and offered free 4G data for 90
days under the Jio Preview offer.

Ril Jio recently extended the free preview offer to users who buy JioFi Router. The JioFi is a
MiFi device that will be available at Reliance Digital and Digital Xpress Mini Stores. The JioFi
device is priced at 2,899.
Under the Jio Preview offer, the users can avail unlimited 4G data, video calls, SMS and 4500
minutes of voice calls and also accesses many premium Jio services.

5. What is VoWiFi?

over WiFI of same telecom network if 4G Celluar network is weak. Since the switching between
VoLTE and VoWiFI happens in the background, there will be no disturbance in making the calls.
6. How to check VoLTE Support in 4G Smartphone?
All you have to do is insert the Jio Sim card in your handset. A VoLTE sign will be displayed
above mobile tower icon on the top corner of your smartphone if your mobile supports VoLTE.
Most of the smartphone makers are planning to roll out support for VoLTE in the OTA updates.
7. What documents are required to get Reliance Jio SIM Card?
You just have to provide an Address Proof, ID Proof, and a Passport size photo. No other special
documents are required to get the Jio SIM card.
8. My Jio SIM Card is not activated. What to do?
As I mentioned earlier, you have to wait for 3-4 to get the SIM Card activated. You can call
Reliance Jio Tele-Verification at 1977 from your Jio SIM to fasten the verification process.

care@jio.com to know the status of your SIM Card.
9. Can I use the Jio SIM Card that comes with LYF mobile in other Smartphone?
The Jio 4G sim that is bundled with LYF smartphones is locked to the mobile only for three
months. After that, you can use your Jio SIM card on any handset.

11. Can I use Reliance Jio SIM Card in 3G Smartphone?

The Simple answer is Yes. You can also install the Jio Join app to make VoLTE HD calls even if
your device doesnt support VoLTE.
All the Telecomm operators use the 3G towers for 4G coverage. In case you insert the Jio 4G
Sim in a 3G smartphone, your download speeds will be same as 3G speeds.
12. How to Buy Reliance Jio Sim Card online?
The Reliance Jio 4G Sim card is available only at Reliance Digital stores, and you cannot get a
Jio SIM online. If you want to buy a new Jio SIM, Just Install MyJio App on your smartphone to
find the nearest Reliance Digital Store.
13. Lost the My Jio Barcode, How to get another code?
open Mobile Settings >> Application Manager >> Installed Apps >> My Jio >> Clear App Data.
After performing the above task, you can generate the new barcode again.
