Objective of Music School

2. To provide a means of recreation for our future life.


Humans need to relax. Music one means of relaxation. At work, we can be
productive. In studies, music can serve as a means of setting the mind and tunes
out distractions. Exercise makes a fun. Music compelled us to cry, laugh or
worship. Life is not a work-all-day drama. Music is there to relieve stress. It can
induce a deep sleep.
Music is not a science that established principle. The technicality or musicality
cannot have a specific characterization. It is more of a feeling and thought. Then it
is impractically impossible to define or categorize all music.
Types of Music
Instrumental soulful and heart-melting, emotional
Example: Wolfgang, Amadeus Mozart, Joseph Haydn, Ludwig Van
Beethoven, Emmanuel Bach
Trance disco, fast music of inner cities of America, associated with drugs
but supports peace, love and personal freedom
Example: Robert Miles
Hip Hop consists of rhythm and blue, influenced by Jazz and Black music,
consists of rapping, equivalent to reggae
Example: Bob Marley, Eminem, Usher
Country its roots are in Folk, Celtic, church and gospels, Aboriginal and
Tribal
Example: Simon Garfunkle, Carpenters
Avant experimental, direct
Pop popular music
Example: Celine Dion, Britney Spears, Westlife
Fabulous hiphop, reggae, pop, instrumental, classical and traditional
Example: George Michael, Savage Garden
Latin bolero, corimbo, conga, lambada, Macarena, salsa, mambo
Example: Ricky Martin, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Selena
Types of Musical Instruments
1. String a) plucked: guitar; b) vibrate: violin; c) keys: piano
