Project overview
Silcasia Energy has been setup to promote new
technology converting waste to fuel and manage
environmental service for municipal authorities in South
Asia.
Our primary objective is to own and
operate Waste to Fuel processing plants
in Bangladesh producing synthetic diesel
from all types of municipal and industrial
waste to generate electricity.
Silcasia Energy is looking forward to work with the
respective local Governments/Companies to provide
solutions in Waste Management Process and turning it
from a cost based activity to a profit oriented and
environment friendly production process.
The group has initiated a project to participate and
establish in the commercial viability of a newly developed
municipal solid waste to energy conversion process and a
limited number of activities in environmental and
ecological technology.

We are the pioneers in introducing waste to fuel green
energy conversion process. And with our unique
technological advantage there isnt a competitor in the
market to compete with our technology or the business.
There is a huge market for energy in Bangladesh and
opportunity to invest with high return is likely to continue
for next 40 years. The global energy investment
requirement by 2050 is estimated to stand at 50 trillion
USD.
The national governments are under obligation to reduce
greenhouse emissions and the developing nations
presents a great opportunity to introduce new initiatives
and technologies in producing low emission alternative
energy for power. Bangladesh is in such an
advantageous position and presents such and unique
opportunity to us as a new technology energy company to
establish a strong company in this sector.
We planned to invest 105,000,000.00 (one hundred and
five million pounds) over a period of five years. The
project has been designed to be completed in three
phases.
The first phase will be implemented with only one unit of
WTF2000 in Dhaka City at a cost of 22 million.
Phase two and three will be completed by year 3-5 which
will include a sewage treatment plant.
We are looking for initial investors in the company who
will become promoter investors and hold places of
directorship in the board of company directors.
We are presently looking to raise 120,000.00 (one
hundred and twenty thousand pounds) for the setup and
promotion of the company in Bangladesh and to raise
finance from NRBs abroad.
The company will be setup with the government of
Bangladesh on PPP 30/70 basis to facilitate a strong and
continuous operational relationship with the government.
It is proposed that in order to maximise our profit and
minimise costs a group of 10 initial investors are invited to
join the three exiting promoters in the company. A
