Seeking Wisdoms heart

Life is not a competition it is a journey. People always think life as a desire for excellence
in order to become the best in all aspects of life. As a young person I considered life as a battle
and competition. Later on, I reflected upon that I was wrong. I intended doing things to pull
others downward instead of pushing them upward. In Richards and Rogers Approaches to
College English Teaching, One of the main roles of being a student is that Learners should help
their fellow learners. This indeed was my huge mistake and let myself into oblivion on the
feelings of others.
In my life, all I want is to become the best among others. Sometimes I dont want to help
and share what I know. I realized that it is not about on how competitive we are rather it is about
doing things that might help others. In one of my Politic philosophical Ideas I have shared is that
when the head of the state is formed very well through his/her historicity then it will hugely
reflect on the society for the head is the brain of the society and the state is the responded to the
head. People nowadays want to expose of their greatness, obtain power for superiority and what
is worse is the rejection for the weak. People in the society will have great negative impact
because of this attitude and governance that causes chaos and lamentations. Thus, if in our
university forms us to be a corrupt and not an ideal head then learning is indefinable.
Nonetheless, as early as now we ourselves together with our comrades shall lead the people in a
better nation by simply building character through others and our authentic experiences.
My biggest realization of all is when I learned to reject self pity and rely on ourselves just
to prove ourselves. All we need to do is to be who we are, and to do things that will make us a
better person. Our achievements and grades are only secondary. More importantly, the cherished
treasures of the people around us will remain forever in our lives. Our ups and downs, the family
and friends who will stay even in our darkest hours and the struggles and graces we have
encountered are the things we need to be prepared to seek the true meaning of you and your
future contributions to mankind.
I am sick of competition and gaining achievements and fame but in the end people
around misinterpret me that lead to hatred and jealousy as if I am nothing and will never be
appreciated for the things that I have done. At the end of the day, grades, achievements and
fames are only our parameters, the people around us who will love and accept us even in our
simplest form. Let me end you with one Philosophy for Rizals Anecdotes, Studying is not
about competing with our fellow learners rather it is a competition against yourself to transcend
your knowledge far beyond your limits.
