Sub Topic : Skill of Basic and Advanced Asking

The skill of teaching differenced of skill of basic and advanced asking, the skill
of basic asking need applied for give many kinds of question, whereas the skill of
advanced asking that was especial effort to develop the thinking ability of the
student to bigger the participation and supporting the student, so can self inisiatif.
Teachers need the skills to ask for tend to dominate the class with lecture, students
is not to get used to ask questions, students must be involved in mental-intellectual
maximally, because the question only serve to test the students understanding. The
purpose of basic skill there are, to build interest and felling to know, to make the
concentrate to the attention, to know the difficult, especially that obscure of study,
to develop the active study, to give chance to assimilate the information, to support
the student at show that opinion in discussions and to measure and test the study
result.
The good question have many functions including there are encourage students
to think, increase the involvement of students, stimulate students to ask questions,
diagnose students weaknesses, students focus for one issue, and help students with
language to reveal the opinion that good. Skills of asking the basic question consist
of many components there are the question are clear and brief, of reference,
concentration, move the shift, dissemination, giving time to think, and the provision
of guidance, whereas skills to ask more question consist of components there are
cognitive demands of edit in answer the questions, the order of question, the
question using of trackers, and increase in the occurrence of interaction. In
applying the basic skills to ask and information. Teacher need to pay attention to the
following principles that are warmth and enthusiastic, avoid repeat question their
own habits, the questions themselves, ask question that invite answers in unison, the
students repeat answers, ask double questions, and refer students to ask questions
before, time to think that given the more advanced of which is given for the basic
level, and compile a basic question and the value after the question is finished
teaching.

Sub Topic : Skill to Give Strengthening

Strengthening the response to a behavior that can increase the likelihood that
the behavior back. Techniques in the delivery of learning activities can be either
verbal and non verbal. Strengthening verbal appreciation is expressed by the
tongue, while strengthening the stated facial expression nonverbal, body movement
of things, and others. In the framework of the management class, known
strengthening the positive and negative reinforcement. Strengthening the positive
aims to maintain and keep the positive behaviors, whereas negative reinforcement is
the strengthening of behavior or how to remove the stimulus that is not fun. The
purpose that can reach, in the using of strengthening in the class there are to
increase the attention of student, to build and keep the students motivation, to make
easily study of students, and to control and modification the students behavior. To
give the strengthening to provide the principles, that are warmth and enthusiastic,
the meaning, avoid negative response, strengthening should be varied, targets
should be clear of and the strengthening should be given immediately after the
behavior that is expected to appear.
The ways of using strengthening there are the strengthening in certain private,
the strengthening must clear and show at certain student with call their name and
looking to them, the strengthening in students group sometimes the strengthening
can give at student group, so teacher can using verbal strengthening, to give
strengthening directly the strengthening must give directly before behavior appear
or respons student that hoped, variation of using if the praise word use as the
strengthening, so the value will be decrease. If each time the teacher give
strengthening like the good word, so someday the good word is not support the
students to increase their ability. The verbal strengthening is praise word, support,
confession, that use to make the behavior be strength and student ability. The verbal
strengthening can be show by :
a. Words like : good, yeah, thats right, very good, etc.
b. Sentences like : your job is very good, I like your job.
The kinds of non verbal strengthening there are strengthening like facial
expression and body language, strengthening with proximity, strengthening with
touching, strengthening with interest activity, and strengthening with symbolic and
not full.
