1821 El triunfo de la unin y la independencia

Se organiza el primer gobierno autnomo, el 28 de septiembre se reuni la Junta
Provisional Gubernativa, el primer gobierno independiente de Mxico en el palacio
virreinal.
Los smbolos del triunfo en Iguala se crearon la primera bandera y el primer
ejrcito mexicanos: el Trigarante o de las Tres Garantas. La bandera, simboliza

con el blanco la pureza de la religin; con el verde, la independencia, y con el rojo

la unin.
Consolidacin de la independencia: los tratados de crdoba y el imperio mexicano
1823 Del imperio a la Repblica
El imperio mexicano no logra resolver los conflictos y la devastacin de
la economa. Pronto Iturbide es derrocado y se proclama la Repblica, pero
los conflictos no terminan.

Se cre un Poder Ejecutivo provisional conformado por un triunvirato, cuyos

miembros eran Guadalupe Victoria, Nicols Bravo y Pedro Celestino Negrete. Tras
mltiples disputas entre sus miembros, el 7 de noviembre se instal el Segundo
Congreso Constituyente.

El primer ao de la presidencia de Guadalupe Victoria se caracteriz por la

pervivencia de la crisis econmica. Para su fortuna, el ejrcito mexicano logr
tomar San Juan de Ula y expulsar definitivamente de Mxico al ejrcito espaol.
1826 Disociaciones, alianzas y encuentros
El Gobierno mexicano considera necesario atraer capitales y colonos extranjeros,
as que acepta la entrada de ms anglosajones a Texas.
1827 La ruptura total con Espaa

Desde la culminacin de la Independencia, muchos mexicanos dudaban de la

lealtad de los espaoles que vivan en Mxico. Cuando el padre Arenas trat de
sublevarse contra el gobierno, el resultado fue la primera ley de expulsin de los
espaoles.
