Trade Agreements: Trump believes he need to negotiate fair trade deals that can create american jobs.
He states that this will increase American wages and reduce Americas trade deficit. This being said he
will instruct U.S trade representative to bring trade cases against China. This is because almost half of our
entire manufacturing trade deficit in goods with the world is the result of trade with China, this is where
fair trade deals come in. His idea to solve this is by changing our trades with China, they are who is put at
fault for half of our trade deficit. Quoting Trump Tell NAFTA partners that we intend to immediately
renegotiate the terms of that agreement to get a better deal for our workers. We must look at the facts
from Trump Our annual trade deficit in goods with Mexico has risen from close to zero in 1993 to
almost $60 billion. Our total trade deficit in goods hit nearly $800 billion last year. China is responsible
for nearly half of our entire trade deficit. Almost half of our entire manufacturing trade deficit in goods
with the world is the result of trade with China. In the article Donald Trumps Trade Policy Will Put
These Companies Out to Sea it states Trump can't make these plans without congressional approval,
meaning his plans to instruct U.S trade representative to bring trade cases against China must be
approved. As well as Forty-five percent across the board tariffs is a terrible solution to our problems
with China, one that would harm poor Americans. Its also been said by many economists that his
policies are deeply flawed. However with seeing the important facts about the mistakes we have made
and making plans to prevent these from happening are what must be done.

Jobs: Trump is proposing to negotiating fair trade deals that will lead us to make more jobs. As
well as reforming tax, trade energy, and the faster the growth is with the Trump Plan it will create
25 million jobs in next decade. Spreading the economy by 3.5 percent per year. In reaching this
target Trump will need to more than double immigration. These are some of many key points
Trump has made regarding new jobs, Narrowing America's trade deficit and increasing domestic
production, reducing taxes on businesses so products can be sold more easily around the world,
replacing bureaucrats who only know how to kill jobs with jobs creations experts, reviewing
regulations and repealing the obama administration's executive actions that inhibit hiring vowed
to crack down on immigration, which would further shrink the pool of available workers. Trump
had said before he didnt want to deal with the Economy problem but over time he saw how he
can fix this and proposed that I can fix it. I can fix it pretty quickly. Trump facts about the
economy are right, From 1947 -2000, United States the economy expanded on average 3.6
percent a year. Jobs are one of the many things that make up our country, and with the Trump
Plan this will create more jobs that are being taken away.

1. This being said he will instruct U.S trade representative to bring trade cases against China
a. Trump might be sleeping behind the wheel on this, because

trade enforcement is something that we already do. And we do it well.

Since 2009, the United States has filed 20 cases at the World Trade
Organization (WTO), including 11 against China. And weve won every
single case that has been decided. (Jay Chittooran, Thirdway.org)
2. Our annual trade deficit in goods with Mexico has risen from close to zero in 1993 to

almost $60 billion.

a. This is nonsense, as countless economists, businesspeople and
rational conservatives will tell you. (It would be foolhardy to force American
businesses and consumers to pay more and have less freedom to choose, writes
former trade rep Robert B. Zoellick. Lower taxes on imports from trade deals
save the average U.S. household about $10,000 a year, according to the Peterson
Institute for International Economics. Yet Mr. Trump wants to impose steep
tariffs to win on trade. (Jennifer Rubin, Washington Post)
3. The faster the growth is with the Trump Plan it will create 25 million jobs in next
decade
a. Without a wave of new immigrants entering the American

workforce, Trump will have a hard time finding enough workers to fill those
jobs. With a series of tax cuts and a moratorium on federal regulations, the
GOP candidate promised that a Trump economy would also expand U.S.
payrolls by 25 million new jobs over the next decade, harkening back to a
period when the economy grew at a more rapid pace.(John W. Schoen,
CNBC)

SUMMARY ANALYSIS: From your research and deeper understanding of this

issue, summarize your findings and analysis in a TRUTH STATEMENT.
With everything that I have found it's not a huge surprise to see Trumps plans dont add up. He throw
many facts out there and proposes a plan but when you fact check it all a lot of articles and prove that his
plans won't make significant chance for the benefit of everyone. There is much to be said about his 25
million job plan when there are many articles stating this will kill 10 million jobs and if this Trump Plan

works, who will fill in those jobs when he is doubling the immigration. Also its clear some of his plans
for example bringing cases against China wouldn't be smart. The trading process has it flaws but we do it
well , Since 2009, the United States has filed 20 cases at the World Trade Organization (WTO),
including 11 against China.
