1. Tellengs Theorem example

N is a network including resistors only. When R2 = 2, V1 = 6V ,
We can get I1 = 2 A, V2 = 2V ; When N 'networkR2 = 4, V1 = 10V , We can
get I1 = 3 A, find out V2 then.

INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDENTS:

All the students have to maintain a separate

Observation Book.
Before entering the laboratory, the students have to
copy the circuit diagram, tabular column and
formulae in the Observation Book.
When entered the laboratory, students have to go to
the respective experiment table and have to copy
the component details. Then the meter and other
accessory ranges have to be decided and entered on
the circuit diagram in the observation book.
The completed observation book must be submitted
to the staff-in-charge for scrutinisation.
Proper precautions must be followed during the
experiment (General precautions are listed below
and specific precautions are listed in the respective
experiments).

All the calculations and graphs must be done completely

before leaving the Lab and the signature of staff-in-charge
must be obtained on the observation book and graphs
before leaving the laboratory.

All the students have to submit the Completed Folder in

the consecutive laboratory.

Students have to enter the elemental values, meter

ranges, rheostat ranges, supply specifications, etc. on the
circuit diagram. Write the readings in the tabular column
provided and show one set of specimen calculations.

Graphs have to be plotted on the graph sheets.

Selection of Meter Ranges:

Select the ratings of Ammeter, Voltmeter,
Wattmeter, fuse etc. According to
- Ratings/specifications of the circuit
elements
- Loading conditions
