Responsibility

This document is not an engagement letter, nor is it a contract or agreement with the client.
This document may be used to communicate engagement information during the kick-off meeting.
On engagements where it is not preferred to distribute the Engagement Letter or Contract, the project
charter may be used to communicate engagement objectives, scope and deliverables to the team. For
large and complex engagements, the charter may be accompanied by the Communication, Quality,
Resource and Risk Management Plans.

team.
It should be reconciled with the engagement letter to ensure that the scope, schedule and budget
are aligned.
