Educational Foundation Fukuoka Seikei Gakuen is located in the center of Fukuoka City at Kyushu Prefecture in Japan.
Fukuoka International Communication College (FICC) & Fukuoka Foreign Language College (FFLC) are under
Educational Foundation Fukuoka Seikei Gakuen which has over 110 years of history. We welcome International Students
from all over the world, and you will be Studying Japanese along with students of various nationalities.
International Students can study Japanese Language and Culture here in Japan. We are offering both short term and intensive

From April 2012, we have started a course for the International Students. They will have the chance to study for an Associate
Diploma in Cultural Education. The course will be carried out for two years or 1700 hours of study. After completion,
students can directly transfer themselves into a 3rd year of a Bachelor Course at a Japanese University. After two more years of
study in the University, students will get a Bachelor Degree. Or, after completion of their Associate Diploma in Cultural
Education, they will be eligible to apply for a work visa in Japan and be employed.

ELIGIBILITY:
Applicants must have completed at least 12 years of education from their country or foreign country.
Applicants must have completed 150 hours of Basic Japanese language Study with Certificate or Japanese
Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) 5. Recommendation Letter is also acceptable in case if the applicant is
taking lessons from the private teachers teaching Japanese.
Applicants must be 18 or over.
Applicants must guarantee the payment for tuition and living expenses during their stay in Japan.
Applicant shall be mentally and physically healthy and shall respect all applicable laws of Japan.

After we finish checking the student documents we will submit it to Fukuoka Immigration and apply for the
Certificate of Eligibility.
<Important Notes>
It takes about one month to check all the documents by the school before submitting the final set of documents
to Immigration. We will contact and request you to send any documents found to be missing; in case there are,
please send any requested documents as soon as possible. Please note the below time of being able to
communicate with you.

RESULT OF ELIGIBILITY FROM THE IMMIGRATION:


The result for the applicants Certificate of Eligibility will be announced according to the dates listed below,

We will send you the tuition invoice and the copy of your certificate of Eligibility by Fax or Email. After receiving, students
will pay the tuition fees into the school bank account and finally we will send all the original copies back to each student.

Experienced and skilled teacher teaches Japanese Language including traditional Japanese culture.
We have our own school dormitory with full facilities where International Students are living in sound harmony.
Part time works are available for international students who are willing to work and communicate with Japanese people.
Also FFLC introduces different Japanese universities to the International students for higher education after completing
Japanese language study.

** There is an Application Fee of 20,000 Yen (Non Refundable). All the students are requested to pay the Application Fee in the
beginning and before commencing the application process.
*** The Utilities (Electricity, Gas, Water), Futon & Blanket price has increased recently
*** The Security Deposit will be refundable in case if you dont have any previous dues or any claims from the Dormitory.
*** The school will deduct half of the 6 months dormitory fee in case if you cancel your admission after receiving Certificate of
Eligibility & Paying all the Fees to our school. Also same rule will be applicable if you fail to receive VISA from the embassy of

Before Enrollment :
In case the Embassy of Japan in your country not allow you to obtain a Japanese Visa although you
remitted all the school fees and applied for the Visa with the Certificate of Eligibility.
Submit a document of refusal to us and we will refund all the school fees except the 20,000 JPY
as for Application Fee & Half of the 6 months Dormitory Fee. (Bank Commission will be charged to the
applicants).
After Enrollment :
No refund will be made to the student who leave school without completing their course.
OTHER DETAILS:
Before Confirmation of Your Tuition Fee Deposit:
As soon as we receive your Certificate of Eligibility(COE) from the Immigration Dept. of Fukuoka, we
will mail you a scanned copy, invoice and a request for you to pay the tuition fee.
After Confirmation of your Tuition Fee Deposit:
After receiving the tuition fee, we will send you the original copy of (1) Certificate of Eligibility (2)
Enrollment Agreement (3) plus all original certificates. Please submit these documents to your local
Japanese Embassy to enable you to process your visa.
After receiving Visa from the Local Japanese Embassy:
Inform us about your current status.
Confirm your Air ticket and send us the Flight Schedule/ Itinerary by mail.
Please avoid Saturday, Sunday and other holidays when you book your tickets.
Someone will go from the school to meet you at the airport and take you to the School
dormitory. Please book your flight to Fukuoka during weekdays between 9 am to 6 pm.
