1.LASSO TOOLS
A.Sysmbol and description of the tools

For a faster way to select the Lasso Tool, simply press the letter L on your keyboard. There are two
other types of lasso tools as well - the Polygonal Lasso Tool and the Magnetic Lasso Tool, both of
which are hiding behind the standard Lasso Tool in the Tools panel.

2.POLYGONAL LASSO TOOLS


a.Polygonal Lasso Tools

You can cycle through Photoshop's three different lasso tools (Lasso Tool, Polygonal Lasso
Tool and the Magnetic Lasso Tool, which we'll look at later) by holding down your Shift key
and pressing the letter L repeatedly.

3.CROP TOOLS
A.Crop Tools
As with previous versions of Photoshop, to crop an image, we start by selecting the Crop
Tool, either by clicking on its icon in the Tools panel along the left of the screen or by
pressing the letter C on the keyboard. I'll select it from the Tools panel:

4.HEALING BRUSH TOOL


a.Healing Brush Tool
The Healing Brush tool allows you to fix image imperfections such as scratches, blemishes, etc. By
sampling the surrounding area or using a predefined pattern you can blend the imperfections into
the rest of the image.

5.SPOT HEALING BRUSH TOOL

The spot healing brush is the default healing tool in photoshop and can be used to clone areas from
an image and blend the pixels from the sampled area seamlessly with the target area.the basic
principle is that the texture from the sample area is blended with the color and luminosity
surrounding wherever you paint.

6.PATCH TOOL
a.Patch Tool

It offers a quick one-stop solution for repairing large areas of an image. However,patch tool work doesnt
always produce the results that most users expect.

7.CLONE STAMP TOOL


a. Clone Stamp Tool

The clone stamp tool acts like a brush so you can change the size, allowing cloning from just one pixel
wide to hundreds.

8.BCKGROUND ERASER TOOL


a. Bckground Eraser Tool

The Background Eraser Tool is especially useful with photos that contain lots of fine
detail along the edges between your subject and its background, like, for example, if
you want to erase the sky in an image without erasing the trees below it.

9.MAGIC ERASER TOOL


a.Symbol and description of the tool

To use the Magic Eraser tool you simply click on the background somewhere and it will vanish. If
you only have one layer open, when you click to remove the background the pixels will be turned
into a transparency, in other words there will be nothing there so you'll just see a chequered
pattern.

10.BLUR TOOL
a. Blur Tool

The Blur

Tool unfocuses image areas:

In the Toolbox, select the Blur Tool.


Choose brush size and style.
Set the tool's strength.
Drag on the image.
In the Options bar, you can also specify the effect's "Mode".
