System Requirements
Before installing the CAMWorks -Tolerance Based Machining application, ensure
that the following System Requirements are fulfilled:
SOLIDWORKS 2017
SOLIDWORKS 2016
SOLIDWORKS 2015
CAMWorks Version
You can download the Installer Package for CAMWorks application from
Downloads Area of from the CAMWorks website (http://www.camworks.com).
Adobe Reader XI
The Adobe Reader application is necessary to view, read, navigate, search and
print the Installation Guide for CAMWorks -Tolerance Based Machining
application.
4. The Installation Wizard will prompt you set the location for the Program files
and Data files. Default locations will be displayed within the CAMWorks
Tolerance Based Machining Installation Wizard.
You can either retain these default locations or change the folder locations
for these files and click Next.
5. The installation Wizard will now indicate that it is ready to install the
CAMWorks Tolerance Based Machining software application. Click the Install
button to commence the installation process.

7. Once the installation is complete, click the Finish button to exit the Wizard.
After installation, click the Finish button to exit the Installation Wizard
Click on the
Options button on SOLIDWORKS/CAMWorks Solids and
select Add-Ins from the dropdown menu.
The Add-Ins dialog box is displayed. If CAMWorks TBM is listed in Add-Ins,
then it indicates that it was successfully installed.

Ensure that the checkbox for the CAMWorks 201x Add-In is checked.

Place a check in the checkbox to the left of CAMWorks TBM listed in Other
Add-Ins.
Note:

Click OK to close the dialog box. CAMWorks TBM will now be launched
within the SOLIDWORKS/ CAMWorks Solids environment.
These commands will work only when the CAMWorks- Tolerance Based Machining
application is installed properly on your machine.
Click on the Tolerance Based Machining with UI command on the CAMWorksWorkFlow toolbar.
The CAMWorks - Tolerance Based Machining dialog box will be displayed. The
display of this dialog box indicates successful installation and working of the
application.

5. The Downloads Area page will be displayed. Click on the link for CAMWorks
Downloads.

6. The CAMWorks Downloads webpage will be displayed. Click on the link for
CAMWorks Tolerance Based Machining
7. Clicking on this hyperlink takes you to the section of the webpage
containing the links to download the CAMWorks Tolerance Based Machining
application and Installation Guide.
