Please refer to this Secretariat's letter of even No. dated 26/27.09.2016 (Copy
enclosed) regarding subject mentioned above.

It is , further , to inform you that Department of Expenditure vide its email dated
28.10.2016 has informed that order for extending 7th CPC recommendations to the
employees of Autonomous Bodies have not yet been issued. Therefore, it may kindly be
ensured that the Revised Pay Scales are not extended to employees of Autonomous
Bodies until appropriate order in this behalf are issued by the Ministry of Finance.

Both the Directorates are requested that direction of Department of Expenditure
may be complied with and Circulatedfor wider publicity.

This issues with the approval of 'Competent Authority'.

Subject:

lmplementation of the recommendation of the 7th Central

Pay Commission Extension of order of revised pay
structure of employees of Prasar Bharati, covered under
section 11 (5) of the Prasar Bharati Act, 1990.

The matter regarding implementation of the recommendations of the

Central Pay Commission to the Prasar Bharati employees covered under
Section 11 (5) of the Prasar Bharati Act, 1990 was taken up with the Ministry
for approval.

The Ministry of I&B vide their letter dated 06.09.2016 had clarified that

0/0 Expenditure is yet to issue orders for extension of revised pay scales to
Autonomous
Bodies/Statutory
Bodies.
After issue of orders by 0/0
Expenditure, it may take-up with the Ministry for extending the same to the
rest of the employees, as per the instructions in the order.
