Laminated wood po es are des gned using
procedures g ven n the Timber Construction Manua
They can be used in a but the most severe w nd
areas as described on page 4. The glue ine s a
fully waterproof adhesive as defined in Commerc al
Slandard CS 253 -63

Preservative Treatment
Wood components are pressure treated with
peftach orophenol n light hydrocarbon solvents,
wh ch protecls the wood from decay and insecl
damage. The treatment conforms to AWPA Standard
C28 69. Pentachlorophenol in light hydrocarbon
so vents conforms to AWPA Standards P8-64
and Pg 69.
