PDP:

I will focus in writing skills to make 50% of students able to write a


correct sentences and paragraph with minimal errors in my year 4.

Objective:
-

Writing is develop students Independent thinking to write their


ideas and thoughts about the subject that they have to write about
(Zinkosky.N.D).
When students are writing they are using the new vocabulary which
help them to remember it (Educationgy.N.d).
Writing is developing students imagination, self-confidence and
identity (Bellows.N.D)
Writing is helping the teacher to assess students leaning and
encourage creativity (Walker.2016).

Writing is one of the skills that I think students have to apply each week
which can support their learning by write what they learn. Grammar,
vocabulary, letter, argument, opinion etc. it can be effective way using
writing to teach students how to apply what they have learn. When I was
in high school my teacher was giving us too much writing because of that I
understand the new vocabulary more than repeat it. Now, I want to use it
with the students to help them to develop the English language.

Planning for learning

Manages pair work, group work, individual and whole class


tasks competently.

Differentiates activities across a range of abilities to help


students reach their potential

Writing can be use as whole class like complete the sentence, what
sentence should come next or correct the mistake in the sentences. For
group work and pair students will be sharing the ideas and correcting for
each other sentence while individual will be to assessing students ability
to write. Give each student the question that match his ability is
supporting them self-esteem and can encourage her to write.

Implementing and managing learning

Encourages the development of student independence and


responsibility.

Giving feedback about the writing to students is make her feel


responsible about her mistake and focus in that point to not repeat the
same mistake. Also, high student ability can help the low when they finish
their own task and that make them feel responsible about their peers.

Monitoring and assessment

Shows advanced skills in record keeping and using various


types of assessments.

When students are giving the teacher their writing, she will be correct it
and keep it for herself the general mistakes that students do.
Strategy:
-

In vocabulary lessons, student will write a sentences using the new


vocabulary for low, while the high will write a paragraph. Also, in
grammar lesson.
Collect students paper that they have write in it and use it to check
their writing by using checklist.
Weekly, I will apply a writing lessons to avoid the errors that
students make.

Writing sentences about the new vocabulary.

Writing paragraph about their weekend plan using will and going to.
