The Senior Class is hosting a cancer awareness fundraiser No Shave

November proceeds to be donated to St. Jude Childrens Hospital:
Fundraiser purpose is to raise cancer awareness and collect funds for
further research on the disease. Using "No-Shave November" as a
platform they intend to increase participation and ensure familiarity with
the topic. No-Shave November is a worldwide, month-long expedition in
which participants abstain from shaving in order to fixate attention on
cancer awareness. Fundraiser is open to the first 100 junior and senior
students as well as faculty/staff. Participants will be required to register
with Mrs. Urbach and will receive a card, cancer awareness pin as well as
bracelet. Students participating in the No Shave element will be
required to visibly wear the pin at all times during school on their polo or
sweatshirt. Mrs. Urbach will be sending out more detailed
information. Mr. Chambers will be holding a contest on the first day back
from Christmas Break to reward the student/participant whos facial hair
reflect the most spirited participation in this fundraiser. The cost to
register is $20. On behalf of the Senior Class, Thank you to all who
support this great cause!

Samantha Phillips, Angela

Urbach, Jamie Quaglino

Accolades and
Good News to share

Outdoor School Leaders: Your students are exceptional leaders and we

are truly fortunate to have them as cabin leaders AND inspiration for our
students. Outdoor School is a big milestone for our 6th grade
students...they are away from home, they need to make new friends
quickly, and they need to try new (and strenuous) things for the first
time. Your students provide the motivation and support that makes their
success and growth possible. I can't thank your students enough! They
certainly make Bishop Alemany proud!
